The newly released program version and download file name are as follows.

PCL: If Universal Print Driver is installed in PC with older than v2.0.2.0, the
following message is displayed and this version (PCL/PCL5: v3.3.0.0) cannot be
installed.
"The printer driver is not a target for update. Please try again after updating to
Version 2.0.2.0."

Please be sure to install this version (PCL/PCL5: v3.3.0.0) after updating the
version to v2.0.2.0.
It is not possible to update under the environment where Installer is not
available.
It is not possible to update via Special Universal Print Driver.

2. What changed
================
2-1. The following issues are modified in this version.

1. Support the following models.

- KONICA MINOLTA 658e/558e/458e/368e/308e
- KONICA MINOLTA C759/C659

2. Function version 4.1 is supported.

2-2. The following issue is solved in this driver.

1.In V3UPDv3.2, configuration change by DriverAPI/KMDRVSETis not reflected.

2.In case of specific PPTX file is printed from PowerPoint 2013, data size
of print data is enlarged.
3.In case of specific PPTX file is printed by special driver, data size of
print data is not shrunk.
4.In Korean printer driver, "Poster print" is mistranslated.
5.In case of specific PPTX file is printed with combination setting "2x2"
by PCL driver, print result shows extra frame boarder.
6.In case of KM printer driver is set as default printer, starting specific
apps cause error.
7.Input popup screen for printer authentication setting is grayed out.
8.bizhub C3110: in case of HDD option is not installed, UPD cannot print
multi copies.
9.In case of AcrobatReaderXI print by C554 PCL mono printer driver, printed
result is shrunk as 19%.
10.In case of printing by Microsoft Publisher 2010, popup window is
overlapped.
11.Incorrect display of the Jade/JadeS printer driver.
12.Shortened address list of MFP is not gotten from PC-FAX driver on
AcrobatXI.
13.In case of some custom paper size are registered, after one item is
deleted, correct size is not printed.

3. Restrictions
================
1. When you perform printing using the application, if you click <Printer
Properties> while the print queue status is in the process of connecting, an Error
message is displayed.
Workaround: Click the <Printer Properties> after the print queue status is
ready.

2. When you perform printing using the application (MSPaint.exe), if you click
<Printer Properties> of the print queue whose Device Information has not been
acquired, an Error message is displayed.
Workaround: Perform printing using the application after acquiring the Device
Information from <Devices and Printers>.

3. The Universal Print Driver does not work normally if EasyPrint setting in MS
Terminal Services Environment is disabled.
Workaround: Enable EasyPrint setting.

4. In case of PK-520 is installed, constraint message for non-supported number of

holes is not shown (PS/PCL5).
Workaround; use PCL6 driver.

5. Important notice peculiar to PCL5 driver

5-1) If "Enable advanced printing features" is enabled, Poster setting is not

reflected on the printed result because Poster function is disabled internally.

5-2) If Overlay is used in Point and Print environment, the following

functions are not able to be used at the same time. (The following functions become
disabled.)
N-up, Poster Printing, Booklet, Zoom, Binding Margin Shift, Image Shift,
Watermark

5-3) If N-up and Booklet are configured at the same time, a part of the
printed image is cut (the image is printed on a slant).

5-4) If poster print and following functions is set same time, print result is
not correct.
- front cover / back cover, watermark, overlay, long paper
5-5) In case of A4 printer is selected, if cover, multi copies and sort is set
at same time, cover is printed only first page and last page.

5-6) In case of A4 printer is selected, if cover and zoom is set at same time,
zoom setting is not reflected cover page.

5-7) In case of A4 printer is selected, if cover and body is set as same tray
(not Tray 1), cover page is printed from Tray 1.

5-8) Information of following setting is not reflected in favorite setting

list.
- front cover / back cover, 1-sided / 2-sided

5-9) In case of model does not support finishing function, favorite setting
list shows unnecessary tab.

5-10) If overlay and following functions is set at same time, overlay is printed
incorrect.
- image shift, booklet, opposite orientation

5-11) In case of A4 printer is selected, if paper size is set (except same as

original) by PCL5 driver , zoom and rotation may not correct in some case.
 5-12) If mixed original and N-up and binding position are set same time,
orientation result is not correct in some case.

5-13) In point and print environment, following function is not printed

correctly.
- per page setting, user authentication, security print

6. Important Notice for printing in Citrix environment

If printing does not operate normally in Citrix environment, it may be improved
by either of the following procedures.
- By enabling "Enable advanced printing features" against the print queue
connected to Client PC and VDA.
- By disabling "Enable advanced printing features" against the print queue of
Client PC and enabling "Enable advanced printing features" against the print queue
connected to VDA.

1. The reproduction of bizhub20/20P picture is prohibited.

5. How to install/ uninstall program

======================================
PCL: If Universal Print Driver is installed in PC with older than v2.0.2.0, the
following message is displayed and this version (PCL/PCL5: 3.3.0.0) cannot be
installed.
"The printer driver is not a target for update. Please try again after updating to
Version 2.0.2.0."

Please be sure to install this version (PCL/PCL5: 3.3.0.0) after updating the
version to v2.0.2.0.
It is not possible to update under the environment where Installer is not
available.
It is not possible to update via Special Universal Print Driver.

To install the Universal Print Driver of this version and let it coexist with the
UPDs of previous versions that has been installed without affecting these, select
"KONICA MINOLTA Universal PCL/PCL5 v3.x" for a driver name at the time of
installation.

5.1 How to install

a) When using Installer,
If your PC is 32-bit environment, please use "UPDSetup.exe". If your PC is 62-bit
environment, please use "UPDSetup64.exe". And follow the onscreen wizard to do
installation.

* In the following environment, cannot use the Installer. Please refer to c) or

d).
- Microsoft Cluster Server
- Citrix XenApp 6.5/7.5/7.6/7.7
- Citrix XenDesktop 7.6 FP2/7.7
- Terminal Service (On 2008R2, Remote Desktop Services)

b) When install manually

Please perform installation using Add Printer Wizard in Windows.
5.2 How to un-install Universal Print Driver
a) When uninstall using Uninstaller
Please start up "Uninstaller" from any of the following and follow the
instructions of dialogue box to uninstall the driver.
- "Start" menu> "All Programs">"KONICA MINOLTA">"Universal PCL/PCL5"
- "Control Panel"> "Add or Remove Programs"> "Remove" button of "KONICA
MINOLTA Universal PCL/PCL5"

b) When uninstall manually

If uninstall the driver completely, please perform the following procedure.
When uninstalling UPD, if the folders or files are hidden, please change the
setting to indicate the files and folders.

1. Delete the printer icon. (for all OS)

- From [Printers (and Faxes)] folder, right click [KONICA MINOLTA Universal
PCL/PCL5] icon and select [Delete].
- If you registered the printer icon from [Add this Printer to my Printers
folder] of Device Selector, please delete all registered printer icons.
- After deleting all icons related to Universal Print Driver, go to [file] -
[Server Properties] - [Drivers] tab and Remove [KONICA MINOLTA Universal PCL/PCL5].

2. Delete entries from the Registry. (for all OS)

- [Start] button - [Run...] - input "regedit" - [OK], and start the [Registry
Editor].
- Please delete all the following keys and each sub-key by the Registry Editor.
(Differ in PCL and PCL5.)
(The existing registry key depends on the version of installed UPD.)

1. Open "Printers and Faxes".
2. Select "KONICAMINOLTA Universal PCL/PCL5".
3. Right click on the icon and select "Properties".
4. Click "Details" button.
5. Click "Option" button.
6. Click "Version Information".
