The sev- enth, the Cycle Suit, has five rather than eight cards because there are five natural cycles rep- resented through all systems. After all, there can be no separating, your own energy from the energy of the spirit world. Although these cards represent spiritual energy, each one also reveals something very important about the questioner’s personal life. The Cycle Suit ‘This final suit reveals the five natural cy- cles that exist both within the Universe and within each individual's life. Just as your en- ergy is influenced by other people and events, it is also greatly impacted by the cycles in your fe, in the economy, and in the cultural and physical environment around you. So many peo- ple blame themselves when things go wrong, but it’s more complex than that. It’s necessary to understand the influences of the cycles in your life. If two different cycle cards appear close to- gether in your spread, it could indicate a sud- den shift in the momentum, or it could be re- ferring to different issues and different cycles taking place at the same time, such as an in- crease in love along with a decrease in money In every suit, the connection between energy, consciousness, choice, and outcome is clear. You have not only the power to ascertain future potentials but also the power to direct them, These cards are designed to help you become aware of your energy and consciousness patterns in order to create the wonderful destiny you desire and deserve. 4"READING THE CARDS HERE. ARE DIFFERENT TYPES OF readings you can do, some more extensive than others. Many connect past, present, and future, re- vealing unknown blocks and indicating what may need to be released or achieved in or- der to reach happy and successful results. On. some level, most readings with this deck will reveal important consciousness and energy shifts that could help align your intentions with the flow of Universal Law and abun- dance. The cards have different meanings de- pending on whether they appear upright or reversed in a reading, While the reversed po- sition sometimes signifies the opposite of the upright card’s meaning, it can also represent a more extreme energy of the upright descrip- tion, Where angels and guides are concerned, the reversed position simply represents dif- ferent entities. All the cards reveal potentialoutcomes, outer circumstances, and energetic messages that empower you. The cards can also be used therapeutically. At the end of each card’s description in this guidebook, you'll find a corresponding af- firmation designed to initiate the beneficial energy of the card itself. Take a moment to meditate on the affirmation and determine to create that positive consciousness throughout your day. You can carry the card with you and look at it often to remind yourself of your in- tention, In fact, you may wish to pull a differ- ent card each day, choosing to focus on that one affirmation as a personal intention for that day. Make the cards your own. Shuffle them well and change their direction so they're not all upright or all reversed. Get comfortable with the feel of them. Sense the presence of Spirit there, which is always with you Before you start any reading, you can pre- pare by taking the following steps. 16Preparing for a Reading * Quiet your mind and relax. Take a few deep breaths and affirm that you are open to Spirit’s inspiration and guid- ance. Some people say a short prayer or invocation to get started. After these instructions, I've included a sample invocation you can use. ‘+ Shuffle the cards with the intention to clear the energy of past readings or inquiries. Be sure to shuffle the cards, so that some can change direction— upright or reversed—as you do, Smile and know that Universal energy flows through your hands and into the cards. * If reading for someone else, have the questioner shuffle the cards while thinking about the specific situation, issue, or question they have in mind. If you're doing a reading for yourself, shuffle a second time and focus on your own specific question or issue.Cut the cards in any way that you like. Some people use an elaborate cut, but I suggest using your own intuition to create the method you desire. Continue that approach as long as you feel com- fortable with it. Read the cards in the order indicated ac- cording to the spread that you're using, As you proceed, make sure you take no- tice of possible connections to the cards on either side of the one you're reading, This can expand on the meaning of the card you're focusing on. If you come upon a card that con- fuses you or leaves you wanting more information, you can draw one, two, or pethaps three additional cards, lay- ing them near the card in question for more specific information about it, Remember to use your intuition. Some- times touching the card and closing your eyes will stimulate insight and inspiration. Other times, just calmly 18gazing at the picture can call more in- formation to mind and trigger a deeper understanding, Invocation Invoking the assistance of Spirit is often helpful in both quieting your energy and opening the connection to Divine and Angelic assistance. You can use the following sample or any invocation or prayer that feels comfort- able for you. I invite the presence of Loving Spirit to bring help and healing here. May Divine Love bless and inform us. May inspiration guide this experience, bring wisdom to my heart and mind, and bring blessings and guidance to all. AMEN 9CARD SPREADS. All the following spreads can. be used to obtain general information or to answer a specific question. Never ask a two-sided question, such as “Should I go to school or get a job?” This blurs the energy around both options and makes the response difficult to read, It's also not advisable to look for a simple yes-orsno answer. Rather, ask for information about the energy of a situation. For example, instead of “Will | get this job?” simply inquire, “Tell me about this potential job—and the energy around it.” Here are some good ways to phrase your questions + If follow my present plan, what is the likely outcome of this situation? © What do I need to know about my career/ ‘my health/my relationship? © What do I need to do or change to improve this particular situation? 20+ Tell me something about his (or her) feel- ings for me and where this relationship might be going + What should I focus on today? What is: Spirit’s guidance for me? The following layouts are some of the most common approaches to doing readings with this deck, most of which I use myself You can use these or any other method you feel comfortable with. Use your intuition. You ‘may even come up with a brand-new spread yourself. Trust in that! The One-Card Pull This reading can be done on a daily basis to determine the energy you want to focus on that day. You can also use it for a response to a specific question that you would like some direction about. Before pulling a card, pause fora moment and take a deep breath. Quiet your mind, shuf- fle, and focus on the day ahead or the question 21you have. When you draw the card, reflect on. the picture and the words and consider their meaning. Read the entire description in the guidebook—upright and reversed—for clarity but also add your own intuitive interpretation. The affirmations on the cards are significant energy directors, but they are especially im- portant in the one-card pull. You can jot the affirmation down and repeat it as your focused. intention throughout the day. The Three-Card Spread This is an easy way to look at past influ- ences, present circumstances, and future po- tential. After shuffling and cutting the deck, lay out three cards from left to right. Card 1 indicates the past influence that’s bringing 2energy to the present circumstance. Card 2 describes things as they are currently, both en- ergetically and logistically. Card 3 reveals the potential outcome in the future, In the three-card spread, the lines be- tween past, present, and future are less struc tured than in the similar nine-card spread. The past card could be as recent as yesterday or as long ago as childhood. And the future card be as soon as tomorrow or as far away as next year. Remember that all things exist in ener- getic potential; as people’s vibrations change and other influences enter the picture, future ‘outcomes will change as well. So in this—as in all readings—bring your intuition to the inter- pretation and to the timing. The more read- ings you do, the more comfortable you will feel with these finer distinctions. 23The Seven-Card Cross 5 1 — 3 4 6 2 7 ‘This spread is more detailed and has more specific meanings in placement. After shuf- fling and cutting, place two cards down in a column on the left. These two cards indicate past influences, with Card 1 representing the long-ago past and Card 2 revealing more re- cent influences. 24Now place a card to the right of that col- umn of the past. Card 3 represents you or the central situation at this time. Lay Card 4 side- ways over this card, and you have the energy that “crosses” you or brings a challenge or les- son to be learned. This card is neither upright nor reversed, so read the entire description in the guidebook to discern the message it holds. Upon receiving Card 4's message, lay three cards down in a column on the right, work- ing from top to bottom. These represent your movement from the present into the future; one by one, they reveal the process ahead. Card 5 shows the beginning steps, moving through Card 6, which offers more informa- tion on both the process and future potential. Finally, Card 7 reveals the ultimate outcome. If you need more information about this, you can turn a few more cards to get more specific details.The Nine-Card Spread 6 ee moe Amo = a longer and more extensive ver- sion of the three-card spread. It connects past, present, and future with more particulars about consciousness, energy, and events. First, lay down three cards in a column on the left. This column represents the past, with Card 1 being furthest back—perhaps even re- 26vealing information from a past life. As you go down this column, the timeline moves closer to the present, with Card 3 referring to the most recent past, Next, lay out three cards from top to bottom directly to the right of the “past” column. This second column represents the influential energies and events occurring in the present, with Card 5 being the turning point Finally, lay out three more cards from top to bottom in a column on the far right. ‘These cards reveal the future potential, with the immediate future at the top (Card 7) and the long-range outcomes at the bottom (Card 9). You should be able to draw a thematic con- nection from past to present and then on to the future. It’s also interesting to read any of the three rows of cards from left to right as in a three-card spread. (For example, reading Cards 1, 4, and 7 together.) Sometimes even deeper connections can be found in this process. 27The Energy Circle 9 2 7 1 3 6 4 5 This simple spread places one card at the center of the table, representing you or the is- sue you're inquiring about. You then place a circle of eight cards around this central issue, starting at the upper right corner and laying them in a clockwise direction, The final card 28you lay down represents the outcome. If the answer is complete and clear, it is the ultimate ‘outcome. If it seems unfinished or unclear, it is the interim outcome, and another circle of cards can be placed next to or over the first circle, ‘These circles represent the flow of energy around the issue. Your intuition will reveal how that energy is influencing the outcome and what can be done to bring things to hap- py fruition. 29The Road 7 8 ° wo |} a |} 2 13 |] uw ft as |] a6 |] az |] as This spread is my favorite. It’s very sim- ple, but it calls for a much more intuitive ap- proach. You simply place a series of cards rows of six or seven starting at the left and moving to the right, then moving down to the next row, starting at the left again. Do this for three, four, or more rows of cards. This represents the road that is the pro- cess and potential of your present life, moving 30forward into the future. As you “go down the road,” moving from one card to the next, you reveal specific information about work, rela- tionships, and your personal energy. This read- ing usually starts with the present at or quite near the initial card, although sometimes the first few cards represent the very recent past. The possible variations are why your intuition is such a vital part of this reading, ‘There's no set timing in this layout. You may actually get a past card farther along the road than some of your present or future cards, This shows you how past energy might still be coded in present identity and influenc- ing future potentials. This is especially true when Consciousness and Energy cards ap- pear down the road. It means these issues are held from the past and need to be dealt with now in order to shift the future. ‘The more you do this reading, the more you'll be able to tell how the cards connect in ‘meaning and timing. So listen to your intui- tive voice, and trust what you hear! 31THe TAEANINGS OF THE CARDS E FOLLOWING SECTION GIVES you the Tineanings of each card. Take note of the name of each card, for it not only encapsulates the card's interpretation but also acts as a catalyst to trigger that card’s meaning and energy in your experience. ~ Read the meaning of each card in order to understand it intellectually. Then sense how you resonate with the scene—even with the reversed cards—to imagine the action there and identify the issue the card is referring to. Finally, to know a card’s energy and forge an ‘empowering intention, read the affirmation in the guidebook. Sometimes touching the card can help you to form a stronger intuitive in- terpretation. You can also close your eyes and breathe the card's energy into you, letting it fill you in every way. 33As you work with these cards, you will build a deeper relationship with them, as well as with the quantum world. In time, they will all begin to speak to you. All you need to do is open your intuitive heart and trust. one 341 # Consciousness OPTIMISM Bright Future Upright A woman looks joyously at a sunrise over a beautiful valley. Abundant fruit hangs on the trees that surround her. This is a card of great value and achievement. Your reality is shift- ing in a much more positive direction. Look for an exciting new development in money, romance, or your career. This could also mani- 35fest as a personal accomplishment or a creative success. Old blocks are falling away, and you are choosing to see the light at the end of the tun- nel, There’s an increased optimism taking hold in yourattitude, and you've finally determined to raise your consciousness to a more positive outlook. This reveals a much more beneficial mind-set than you may have had in the past. Your attitude of optimism ensures that a very bright future—perhaps one you may not have been expecting—is on its way. Reversed. ‘When this card is reversed, the sun is set- ting, representing a darker view of things. This could indicate a situation where plans may be stalled or hoped-for outcomes may not be to your liking. While it’s natural to be frustrated, don’t let the darkness of pessimism engulf you. Whether your negative outlook is a long- held habit or due to recent situations in your life, this card is telling you to reverse the nega- tivity now. No matter what has happened, you 36do have the option to create a more positive view and live in a consciousness of optimism. It starts with your approach to every single day. Choose to be positive about the day ahead. Find the potential for joy there, and determine to create it for yourself! Make the conscious choice to maintain your optimism through any dark time.
