Spirit Path Pattern

The Spirit Path Pattern is an acupuncture technique consisting of six points that strengthens the Heart Chakra and connects the higher chakras, forming a pathway to spirit. It creates force fields by forming multiple triangles and tetrahedrons within each other. The six points - Du 20, bilateral SI 11, Du 11, Du 14, and Du 16 - are needled in order to open the Crown Chakra, connect to higher spiritual energies, expand the Heart Chakra, and balance the pituitary gland. The pattern harmonizes the heart's energies to develop unconditional love and wisdom through an open heart chakra that serves as a connection to the highest frequencies and spirit.

Spirit Path Pattern

The Spirit Path Pattern consists of six acupuncture points and has a twofold function that is
formulated and designed to install the correct frequencies for strengthening the Heart Chakra,
and to unite the higher physical body chakras in the proper frequency to form a "Pathway to
Spirit."

This pattern forms multiple triangles within triangles, and actually multiple tetrahedrons
within tetrahedrons, creating a tremendously powerful force field for those who are sensitive
to these frequencies.

Du 20 is the first point needled in the Spirit Path Pattern to install the Qi to open the energies
of the Crown Chakra and to connect with the higher spiritual energies.

The second point needled is SI 11 on the client’s left scapula, followed by SI 11 on the right
side. SI 11 is called Tian Zong in Chinese and is often translated as "Celestial Gathering."
This translation implies that the points are located in an area where the energies from the
higher celestial realms gather.
The scapular region can be thought of as the connection, or base, for our "wings." In the
yin/yang balance of the paired organ system, the small intestine is paired with the heart
system. The small intestine system is the yang aspect, while the heart system is the yin aspect.
Opening and extending our wings so we can "learn to fly" refers to the opening and
expanding of the energies associated with the Heart Chakra.

Energetically, on the esoteric level, the small intestine Qi separates the higher thoughts (clear
thoughts) and higher vibrations, from the lower (turbid) thoughts and lower vibrations. The
small intestine system gives us clarity in our decision-making.

The fourth point needled is Du 11, which is called Shen Dao in Chinese. Du 11 is located
directly on the spine inferior to the spinous process of the fifth thoracic vertebra. Shen Dao is
often translated as "Spirit Path" and the name of the pattern is taken directly from the name of
this point.

The fifth point needled is Du 14 located directly below the seventh cervical vertebra of the
spine on the posterior vertical midline of the body. The Chinese name for Du 14 is Da Zhui,
which is translated as "Big Vertebra." This is in reference to the fact that the seventh cervical
vertebra is usually the most prominent vertebra in that area. George Soulié de Morant states
that Da Zhui is used to balance the pituitary gland.

The sixth and last point needled is Du 16 located at the base of the skull on the vertical
midline on the back of the neck directly below the external occipital protuberance. The
Chinese call Du 16 Feng Fu, which is translated as "Palace of Winds."

There is a category of points referred to as the points of the "Four Seas." Du 16 and Du 20 are
points of the "Sea of Marrow" and therfore nourish the brain. In Chinese medical theory, the
energies of marrow are not limited to the western physiological functions of bone marrow.
The Chinese believe the marrow consists of two parts: bone marrow and spinal marrow. The
Qi of the spinal marrow is the part that is important in Esoteric Acupuncture. It is the Qi of
the spinal marrow that is connected to the energies of the brain.

In order to truly connect to the energies of Spirit and Source, we must open our heart. A
closed heart is a closed pathway to Spirit. If we truly "follow our heart" and our heart is open
to receiving the highest vibrational energies, then we will be led to Source. An open Heart
Chakra is a connection to the highest frequencies. The Spirit Path Pattern is designed to
energize and harmonize the Qi of the various levels of our Heart Chakra and to set in motion
the energies for developing unconditional love and wisdom. The qualities connected to this
energy field are some of the greatest attributes we can possess.

"The heart in the earlier stages of unfolding upon the Path is the central organ; later it is the
organ in the head where the true light has its abiding place. In the process of unfolding, heart
development precedes head development. The emotional nature and senses unfold prior to the
mind. Therefore the heart centre opens before the head centre. Love must be developed before
power can be safely used. Therefore the light of love must be functioning before the light of
life can be consciously employed". From The Light of the Soul by Djwhal Khul
