Mian Huzoor Ka Ruhani Safar| Khandani Shazlia Ka Markaz aur Chiragh Shahi ki

Barkatein

Presented by: Dr Abdul Wajid Shazli

Goal of the video:

The video briefly talks about Mian Huzoor's spiritual journey and some of the teachers he

1
encountered on the way. It discusses the bestowal of Chiragh Shahi to Mian Huzoor and briefly
about Sahibzada Abdul Wajid's khilafat and matters of the nafs since Azal (before time).

Mian Huzoor's Early Days:

Mian Huzoor's first teacher was a guru; Guru Seeta Raam. Mian was around 13 or 14 of age
and he learnt the importance of concentration from him. This was a predominant lesson learnt
from this Hindu teacher. The point was to bring attention to a goal or markaz such that one
becomes oblivious of the world. Despite being phenomenal at meditation and focus practices,
he was a dangerous man but it is ofcourse up to Allah whosoever He chooses to guide. Around
the time of 1974, 1975 Mian Huzoor used to say that my strength as a spiritual practitioner was
very strong. He used to say wherever I used to go, I would automatically absorb the ilm of the
aamils. This was till he met Dada Mian. Mian Huzoor met Khwaja Manzoor Hussain Shah in
1979.

conscious of Allah .” (Holy Quran 2:1-2)"

Around 2007, Mian Huzoor said I want to keep one day a week set for people; so aamils would
come to him. This was an order given to him in 2002 post Dada Huzoor's demise but he slowly
moved towards this. Allama Yusuf, a renowned name in Ulama Ahle Sunnat and Molana Mufti
Abu Bakr met Abul Khair Muhammad Shazli (a Shazli buzurg who met gave them permission for
dua hizb ul behr and khilafat when they went for a pilgrimage). Allama brought sweetmeats and
came to Mian upon return that he was bestowed with khilafat and to share the good news with
Mian Huzoor. Then Mian asked him what do you know about dua hizb ul behr? When Mian
Huzoor stated the explanation of dua hizb ul behr, they were humbled and held onto Mian
Huzoor. You can read a brief explanation here: ‫ﺣﺰب اﻟﺒﺤﺮ‬

https://salawathub.com/hizbul-bahr/

Hizbul behr has the maximum permissions in our family. I did the chillah for hizbul behr in
around 2002/3. I didn’t even know its full potency at the time; I completed the chillah for Hizbul
behr and one for Heft haiqal and was infact the first in our present Silsila to complete the chillah
for Hizabul behr.

2
The Chiragh Shahi:

Mian Huzoor initially did not concentrate on the Shazlia family. Chiragh e Shaahi is an actual
lamp. There are about 9 or 11 such lamps in the world. The location of each lamp is deemed as
a center of Shazlia blessings. In Pakistan, a buzurg near his time of death, who had one such
lamp asked his son (Imran) to give the lamp and some goods to Mian Huzoor. After the man's
death, his son forgot to give the lamp to Mian Huzoor. Life in the spiritual world is beyond
comprehension. The spirituality attached with that lamp began to trouble the household of the
son and his family. Then suddenly he remembered that there was a lamp and some goods he
was advised by his late father to bring to Mian Huzoor.

One day, while I was working at the dawa khana, there was a knock at the door. This man
asked for Mian and delivered the lamp and the things and as soon as Mian took the things
alongside a diary his troubles settled. Mian Huzoor said the lamp will have a reflection of Muh
Mubarak and the Shenshah e Jinn has Baktanosh has his duty on these lamps. The lamp
signifies that in Pakistan Mian Huzoor has the leadership of the Shazlia family. Mian is at the
helm of blessings in the Shazlia family within this geographical part of the world.

Mian Huzoor has seven gems of the Silsila. That I will explain in detail and discuss which family
is each of those and which buzurg have blessed those. Mian got those gems from Darbar e
Risalat. The aura and light of those gems was brighter than the sun.Hakeem is a title that was
bestowed to Mian Huzoor in the world of spirituality.

As a curious teen and with Mian's generosity, I read the entire diary that man left with the lamp.
Once I mentioned the diary to Abu Bakr and Allama Yusuf and Mian gave me a stare but I kept
nudging them to ask Mian about the diary too. Then Mian Huzoor graciously gave them the
diary. The diary had the experiences and visions that the buzurg had experienced. The buzurg
had stated in the diary that Shaikh Abul Hasan Shazli had narrated his entire life journey to the
buzurg. When this was in process, Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti appeared. The diary has
about 1000 such spiritual experiences. The diary also stated that Abul Hasan Shazli was on
duty in the United States of America. Those stationed as abdaal and qutub have both zahiri and
batini names. They have an entire sequence and schedule. The sahaba whose duties have
been appointed in Darbar e Risalat are present even today. Following the Darbar e Risalat is
the Darbar of Hazrat Abdullah Masood ra, then darbar of Hazrat Ali AS, then Darbar e Ghosiyat.

3
You must rememeber that the Prophet SAW said I have chaar yaar zahiri and chaar yaar batini.
There are 4 peers of shariat, 4 of tareeqat, 4 of marifat, 4 of haqeeqat and 4 wahdaniyat peers.

🌺 4 Shariat Peers: 4 Imams: Hazrat Imam Hanifa RA, Hazrat Shaafi RA, Hazrat Maalik RA and

🌺
Imam Ahmed bin Hunbal.

🌺 4 Tareeqat Peers: include Hazrat Hasan Basri, Kameel bin Ziad

🌺
🌺
4 Haqeeqat Peers: the Four angles
4 Marifat Peers: the Four caliphs
4 Wahdaniyat Peers: 4 prophets on whom Allah Pak descended holy books. Hazrat Musa
AS, Hazrat Dawood AS, Hazrat Esa AS and Hazrat Muhammad SAW.

The Journey of Khilafat:

In 2007, during Dada Mian's mehfil I was given ijazat and khilafat. It was a large gathering when
Mian asked for me. I was busy distributing food when Mian announced for me to come to him.
When I hurried towards him, he proclaimed that he had been asked to give the permission and
khilafat to me. Mian put all the garlands in his neck in my neck and transferred the crown from
his head to mine. I fell humbly in his feet and overwhelmed, I cried that I am not worthy of this.
Mian was so emotional and so was the entire mehfil. It will be a day I will remember forever.

Then after two years Mufti Abu Bakr was given khilafat. He was also the only one that year.
After that khilafat of ulama started. It is only after Dada Mian that Mian started accepting
mureeds otherwise earlier he wouldn’t. Khilafat silsila started in 2006. Before me two people
had got khilafat who passed away. I was the most senior in terms of khilafat. However with time
I moved more towards zikr azkaar.

Revisiting Ilm ul Adad:

I had almost left the ilmul Adad when my beloved peer brother Tahir Nadeem Qidiri Sahab
motivated me to revise this knowledge publicly. It was upon his heavy insistence that I am now
4
going back to the knowledge of numbers so people can learn at a distance and practice self
help and be cautioned appropriately as I have crossed these paths. The sessions have been
turned into videos so you can re visit them at your own convenience. Above is the picture of
Tahir Nadeem Bhai sitting affectionately with Mian Huzoor.

The way of the Elders and the self

Whosoever leaves the way of his elders gets misguided; such a person does not know that he
is after the world and has already abandoned the way of his elders. His eyes have been
covered by the desire of seeking the world and he on the contrary thinks that I am working for
deen. Allah says that when a person does ghaflat in His way then He puts a shaitaan on that
person. When the person eventually sees his damaging deeds on the day of judgement he says
to the shaitaan that you have been the worst companion and I wish the distance between you
and I was like east and west.

Often when a person has been steadfast on his pious way, there is a feeling that emerges; the
pride of the self. In such circumstances what keeps you humble and steadfast is your
consciousness that you are on the way of your elders and there is little credit you can take.
However, it is not sufficient to just sit in their sohbet/company. You have to be ready to put in
your hardwork. Be careful that your ego does not deviate you! Be gentle and lenient; not at the
cost of self respect but being soft in your every dealings. An example of our Prophet's SAW
leniency:

"Once, a group of Jewish men entered upon the Prophet ‫ﷺ‬, and said, “As samu alaikum”
meaning “Death be upon you.” Upon hearing this, Aisha cursed them in reply, but the Prophet
‫ ﷺ‬advised her, “Be calm, O Aisha. Allah loves that a person is kind and lenient in all matters.”
(Bukhari)"

Bhagat Kabir writes extensively about how transient this world is and how grounded we must
remain. Everything we own as ours is only for a short period of time. So stay grounded and
humble

A Feeling that Changes:

An important aspect of spirituality is naturally how we are feeling; this feeling is not a uniform
experience or a one time achievement. There are times we sit in the company of our Shaikh and
we undergo a heightened feeling of love for our Shaikh and also a desire to perform good deeds
and be steadfast in what has been prescribed to us by Allah and Prophet SAW.

The question is why does this feeling of being steadfast slowly dwindle? Why do we feel
overwhelmed with time performing the same good deed that once seemed so easy to us?
Slowly, this feeling of righteousness begins to fade. This is because when we are born, there is
an angel and a Qareen appointed with us. The angel is Mulham (one who conveys ilham and
communicates goodness to our Qalb. When we are in the company of the elders the khannas
(which in Arabic means to shrink) so khannas begins to shrink and Mulham becomes more
invigorated. In the Quran there are many types of Qalb mentioned. For instance Qalbe saleem.
The khannas derails the person from the right path.

That is why refuge is sought with Allah from Satan, in several parts of the Quran. Here are a few
examples:

"Al-A'raf (The Heights) - 7:200

‫ﺎﺳَﺘ ِﻌ ْﺬ ﺑ ﱢ‬
‫ﺎﷲ ِإﻧﱠ ُﻪ َﺳ ِﻤﯿ ٌﻊ َﻋِﻠﯿ ٌﻢ‬ ٌ َ ‫ﱠ‬ َ ‫َوإﻣﱠﺎ ﯾ َ ﱠ‬
ِ ْ ‫ﺎن َﻧ ْﺰغ َﻓ‬
ِ ‫َﻨﺰ َﻏﻨﻚ ِﻣ َﻦ اﻟﺸﯿْﻄ‬ ِ
And if it should happen that a prompting from Satan stirs thee up [to blind anger], [164] seek
refuge with God: behold, He is all-hearing, all-knowing. - 7:200

An-Nahl (The Bee) - 16:98

ِ ‫اﻟﺮ ِﺟ‬
‫ﺎن ﱠ‬
NOW whenever thou happen to read this Qur'an, seek refuge with God from Satan, the
accursed. [122] - 16:98

Fussilat - 41:36
Hence, if it should happen that a prompting from Satan stirs thee up [to blind anger], seek
refuge with God: behold, He alone is all-hearing, all-knowing!"

Before the creation of Hazrat Adam AS:

There is an incident that happened before the creation of Adam. Iblis used to be close to Allah
and he asked Allah is there anyone you hold dear? Allah showed him a qandeel (light source)
and said the noor/light of my beloved is embedded secretly in the seventy layers of its light. Iblis
was very curious as he thought it will be a reflection of himself that he will witness behind all the
veils. Allah said if you want to see him you will have to pray 70,000 years before you get a
glimpse.

Iblis continued his worship, this time not out of love for Allah but with a goal in mind and slowly
the veils of light began to disappear. Slowly a burst of light came forward. He didn’t have the
basarat/might to see what was partly revealed to him. Therefore Allah ordered him to pray
another thousand years. The light brought forward the words of La ilaha illal Allah Muhammad
ur Rusool Allah. Then Iblis asked who is Muhammad SAW? Allah announced that there is one
beloved and one that will be the banished or cursed one. Iblis curiously asked who is the cursed
one? The mardood? Allah asked him to be patient and proclaimed that this decision will be
shown very soon.

When Allah mentioned the creation of man, the angel Gibrael said man will create disruption
and chaos on the earth. The question may occur; how did Gibrael know? This was possible
because Iblis who was very close to Allah, would sometimes leak information to the angels as
well and he was standing in the same 'saf' or line when Allah asked malaika to prostrate but
Shaitaan showed arrogance. He was proud and thought why should he prostrate?

That is when Shaitaan was declared the banished one; the one who would be amongst the
kaafirs. All the angels bowed down, but Iblis refused to do so. He argued that since he himself
was created from fire, he is superior to humans, made from Clay-mud, and that he should not
prostrate himself before Adam. As punishment for his haughtiness, God banished Iblis from
heaven and condemned him to hell.

"Al-Baqara (The Cow) - 2:34

And behold, We said to the angels: "Bow down to Adam" and they bowed down. Not so Iblis: he
refused and was haughty: He was of those who reject Faith. - 2:34 (Ali)

Al-A'raf (The Heights) - 7:11

'It is We Who created you and gave you shape; then We bade the angels bow down to Adam,
and they bowed down; not so Iblis; He refused to be of those who bow down.'

Al-A'raf (The Heights) - 7:13

((Allah)) said: "Get thee down from this: it is not for thee to be arrogant here: get out, for thou art
of the meanest (of creatures)." - 7:13 (Ali)

7
Al-A'raf (The Heights) - 7:14
Topics discussed in this Verse:
[Creation] [lblis ( Satan ):refused to prostrate] [Respite for evil]

He said: "Give me respite till the day they are raised up." - 7:14 (Ali)

Al-A'raf (The Heights) - 7:15

((Allah)) said: "Be thou among those who have respite." - 7:15 (Ali)

Al-A'raf (The Heights) - 7:16

He said: "Because thou hast thrown me out of the way, lo! I will lie in wait for them on thy
straight way: - 7:16 (Ali)

Al-Hijr (The Rocky Tract) - 15:39

(Iblis) said: "O my Lord! because Thou hast put me in the wrong, I will make (wrong)
fair-seeming to them on the earth, and I will put them all in the wrong,- - 15:39 (Ali) "
source: https://www.islamicity.org

When shaitaan was made kaafir then he asked Allah to grant him till the Day of Judgement .
Allah said my people will never follow you. Shaitaan didn’t accept that noor e Muhammad before
the creation of Adam also so he was thrown into the category of the kaafirs. So when Allah
appointed an angel with each person, then shaitaan also said that one entity should be
appointed with each person from my offspring also. When Allah agreed to this then a Qareen
was allowed to be with each person and every Qalb is in this test till the end of time where
Mulhoon and qareen act as opposing forces suggesting good and evil respectively.

Iblis and Khannas:

‫ْ ﱠ‬ ْ َ
ِ ‫اس اﻟ َﺨﻨ‬
‫ﺎس‬ ِ ‫" ِﻣ ْﻦ ﺷ ﱢﺮ اﻟ َﻮ ْﺳ َﻮ‬

From the evil of the whisperer who withdraws.

(al-Nas: 4)

Imam al-Qurtubi mentions the following narration in his tafsir of the above ayah:

“It is said: al-Waswaas al-Khannaas is a son of Iblis. Iblis came with him to Hawwa’, placed him
in front of her, and said, “Take care of him [ukfuleeh].” So Adam ‘alaihis salaam said, “What is
this [O Hawwa’]?” She replied, “Our enemy came with this (boy) and told me, ‘Take care of
him.'” So he said, “Didn’t I tell you not to obey him in anything? He is the one who deceived us
until we fell into disobedience.” And he went to the boy and cut him in four, and hung each
quarter on a tree, in wrath at him. So Iblis came and said, “O Hawwa’, where is my son?” and
she informed him about what Adam ‘alahis salaam had done. So he said, “O Khannas,” and he
(i.e. Khannas) came back to life and responded to him.

8
So he came with him to Hawwa’ and said, “Take care of him.” Adam ‘alaihis salam came and
burnt him with fire, and scattered his ashes on the ocean. So Iblis came and said, “O Hawwa’,
where is my son?” and she informed him about what Adam had done to him. So he went to the
ocean and said, “O Khannas,” and he (i.e. Khannas) came back to life and responded to him.

So he came with him to Hawwa’ a third time and said, “Take care of him.” Adam looked at him
(i.e. Khannas), slaughtered and disfigured him, and they both (i.e. Adam and Hawwa’) ate him.
So Iblis came and questioned her (i.e. Hawwa’) and she informed him. So he said, “O
Khannas,” and he (i.e. Khannas) came back to life and responded to him from the mouths of
Adam and Hawwa’. Iblis said, “This is what I wanted. And this will be your home, in the chests of
the sons of Adam.” So he swallows up the heart of the (son of) Adam, whispering, for as long as
he remains heedless; and when he mentions Allah with the speech of his heart, then he (i.e.
Khannas) departs."

al-Tirmidhi al-Hakeem mentioned this narration in “Nawaadir al-Usul” with a chain [isnaad] from
Wahb bin Munabbih.

People can argue the authenticity of the story narrated above and I have mentioned the source
too but one thing is for certain that shaitaan is undoubtedly the enemy of ibne Adam. He is
ofcourse not the enemy of Allah; he knows he is powerless in front of Allah but all his efforts are
against ibne Adam.

Inside Voice:

Goodness comes from Allah. Waswasa is from shaitaan. We continuously seek refuge from the
one who whispers evil into our hearts. Sound waves do not die. There is what is called 'samaat
e takhayyul'. We have to exercise that mindfulness and sharpen our five senses to absorb the
sounds of the universe. Even when you are completely silent, you will hear sounds; these will be
those projected from the universe. Science recognizes that sound waves do not just die or
terminate. Even when I get up from the seat, there is my aura that will remain on the seat. This
is called kirlian photography or aura photgraphy. There have been plenty debates around the
topic over different decades. You can read more about this here if you wish:
https://learn.corel.com/blog/what-is-kirlian-photography/

Some Buddhists train their children to sit in seclusion to meditate to awaken the five senses
which are linked to the inside. The zahiri or outside is a veil. That is essentially why Hazrat
Ghous pak who was a born wali spent forty years in a jungle because there is a need to isolate
and cut off from the world. This was our legacy but sadly we have left this and other faiths have
adopted it.

9
What we are meant to do:

َ ‫ٰﺑﻘُﻮ‬
ۚ‫ۡن‬ ِ‫اﻟﺲ‬
ّ ‫ۡن‬َ ‫ٰﺑﻘُﻮ‬
ِ‫اﻟﺲ‬
ّ ‫َو‬

"(56:10) As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! Sabiqoon (the foremost) implies the
people who excelled others in virtue and love of the truth and in good works and responded to
the call of Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) before others. They were also in the
forefront in their response to the call for jihad, for spending their wealth for the sake of the needy
and for public services, or for inviting others to virtue and truth. In short, they are ever ready for
spreading the good and wiping out evil and making sacrifices and exerting themselves
whenever there was a need for it."
source: https://www.islamicstudies.info/tafheem.php?sura=56

The above tafheem is an indicator of what Muslims were meant to do but sadly today the
situation is very different. The Quran is taken out on special events now and we have deviated
from the right path.

Where we are now:

At the moment I have asked those who are following my previous videos to undertake this
journey with me to recite Surah Quraysh is read 313 times for 40 days. This is not the zakat of
Surah Quraysh; this can be considered as a waiting time. I am not giving anything from myself.
This is a chain with no gaps. It is a preparation to get our body and minds ready. For instance,
in my early days I used to read surah Muzammil 40 times, then 92 times, then117 times,
then120 and then 360 times daily. Then Mian prescribed me to read it daily 11 times. Likewise, I
will guide you when the time comes. You have to follow the advice given to you with patience
and regularity. Even if you have to travel, you can read it in the journey as long as you are in
wuzu. Surah Quraysh has innumerable benefits that I have started in my previous videos and
the precautions you have to take as well. It is beneficial for tasker e khalaiq, rizq power, health
benefits and read for love as well. You are reciting Surah Quraysh, writing the naqsh and
practising meditation. Keep strong and do not lose heart on the way.

Parting with a Dream:

This is around 2007, when I was praying and suddenly my eye shut as I had been going on for
hours. I saw that I walked into Mian Huzoor's room where he used to sit and pray. On the
mussala, I found that Mian was not there instead our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW was
there and from his hair there was water dripping. I humbly collapsed near him and wept while
some drops fell on my neck. Suddenly, my eye opened and I found some drops rolling down my
neck. This beautiful dream was a gift from Allah Pak.
