Being an Electrical Engineer, I am looking forward to pursue graduate research which will potentially

help me to deepen my knowledge in my areas of interest and to eventually achieve my professional

goals. I have attended my B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Pakistan institute of Engineering
and technology affiliated with University of Sargodha, Multan and from past few months, I have been
working in Micro Track as a Technical support Engineer. With this letter I would like to show my strong
interest for participation in Master Program at Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

The enthusiasm to understand the mystery behind the design and operation of electronic gadgets
incited me to enroll myself for undergraduate program in Electrical Engineering at PIET which is one of
the most esteemed institutes of Pakistan. During the undergraduate studies I got exposure to the core
areas of Automation & Control systems. In my 2nd year of B.Sc. studies, I started to develop
special interest in embedded systems and digital electronics.. I am also fascinated about not
only how digital electronics is the heart of today's technology, but also its increasing importance
in the future with the introduction of fields including but not limited to, Internet of Things,
Neuroma orphic Computing and System-On-Chip. Therefore in my 6 th semester 3rd year, I
started to do personal projects in embedded systems and digital design on FPGAs .Besides
building theoretical concepts; I have always enjoyed long hours in the laboratories to correlate theory to
practical observation.

As my final year project I chose “ Hand Gesture Controlled Wheelchair for the physically disabled”
people who face difficulty in moving from one place to another in day today life. Also I got first
position in the final year project exhibition all over engineering universities in Punjab Pakistan 2018.
This in turn helped in grooming my problem-solving skills. The project had several phases whose first
challenge was to calibrate accelerometer according to needs of project so that we precisely control the
motion of wheel chair , circuit designing & control system implementation. The feature Scope of this
project has the ability to bridge the gap between man and machine. Further I want to change this hand
gesture into speech and brain signal recognition which will be better winning factor for all those people
whose whole body paralyzed.

I am currently working at Microtrack as Technical Support Engineer, where I am primarily in charge of

designing, creating and installing car trackers. My responsibilities also include research and development
for integrating new features in the organization’s existing GPS system, implementing GEO-fencing, GEO-
encoding/Decoding to enhance fleet operations and performing Geospatial analysis to enhance the
organization’s internal database. I am also supervising and implementing intra-communication between
Microtrack’s different device networks. My past experiences include working at ZAMTAS international as
Project Engineer and at InterSES as Site Engineer. My work and experience with embedded systems for
car trackers and related technologies for their management have led me to wanting to increase my
knowledge base on them and to set my career path to delve deeper into embedded systems and to
learn more about their different applications around the world.

I intend to pursue my education in Masters to refine my skills and expand my knowledge. The reason I
would prefer a part of this abroad Mastership is that i feel like I can expand my knowledge and skills
even further amidst the diverse communities there. I am well aware that Pakistan offers some really
good Masterships, but I wish to learn more about the world and its workings by meeting more people.

Yours sincerely
