Solenoids

1. Purpose

1.1 Electromagnets (EM) are designed to create a pushing force in control systems of hydraulic drives
of machine tools, engineer and transport vehicles.
1.2 Relay Ems given in tables 1 and 2 run off the AC mains and are designed for position switching in
directional control valves.
1.3 Proportional EMs given in table 3 are designed to create an force proportional to current.

2. Recommendation to user

2.1 Operation position of EM - any.

2.2 Ambient temperature from -500C to +800C.
2.3 Degree of protection IP 65 per DIN 40050.
2.4 Recommended working fluids:
- Shell Tellus T15;
- Shell Tellus T 46;
- Mobil DTE 11;
- Adnoc Circulating Oil 100.
2.5 Working fluid cleanliness - not worse than class 12 with absolute filtration fineness not above
25 mµ (Code 17/15 per ISO 4406-87).
2.6 Working fluid temperature - not above 1000C.
2.7 EM duty cycle - 100%.

3. Table symbols

EM has a spring for spring-loading of EM rod to the spool of a directional

valve. Rod spring-loading force accounts for 5% of the pulling force.

EM has a device for manual switch-on in deenergized state.

EM is capable of manual switch-on and clamping of the ON condition in

deenergized state.

EM has a LED indicator of the ON condition on the upper part of the plug
cover.

EM has a coil replacement feature.

EM has a built-in armature position sensor and electronics which affords

commutation of control current in EM winding on low-powered control signal.
Consumption current is reduced at the end of the armature working stroke.

EM has a built-in armature position sensor brought to the common plug.

Position sensor-inductive, differential (see fig. 6.2) Power frequency of-the
position sensor energizing winding 1...5 kHz.

EM has a built-in armature position sensor and built-in electronics of

sensor signal processing and EM control.

Working fluid pressure in EM chamber-not above 20 MPa.
