Submission date: Friday, February 26, 2021
Professor: Dr. José Ignacio Núñez Varela
ACTIVITIES
NOTE: I recommend downloading Blender 2.70 to 2.79, because starting with version 2.80 Blender
changed quite a bit. However, must tutorials use previous versions of Blender.

ACTIVITY 1
Create the models and rendering of pool balls, following the next tutorial:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csro_0eV0BQ
Once you are done, you will have to make the following modifications to the scene:
1. Add at least 2 more pool balls, with a different color and number from the ones already
created.
2. Model the cue stick and add it into the scene.
3. Model the chalk cube and add it into the scene.
Use the following image as reference, it was done by one of your classmates in a previous
term:
Once your scene is finished, you must render and store it (using the F3 key). Once you
have the image, you will have to convert it in PDF directly, or you can paste it in a Word file
in order to convert it in PDF.
ACTIVITY 2
Download the PDF file with the tutorial of how to create a duck, along with the reference
image that you will have to use for the same tutorial.
Follow the instructions for the creation of the model and how to make a video of the
animation.
Once you have generated the video, you must upload it along with the PDF obtained in
Activity 1.
SUBMISSION
- Activity 1: Convert your image into PDF format (you can do it directly or by pasting the
image in Word and then saving the file as PDF). Just put the image, there is no need to
write a header or title.
- Activity 2: Generate the video (following the tutorial).
- Upload both files to Moodle. You can upload any type of video file, but I prefer the AVI
format. Also, consider that Moodle only allows file of 5 MB maximum.
- The file name of both files must have the format: lastname_firstname.extension
- Only in case you cannot upload your homework using Moodle (because of the file size),
you will send both files to: [email protected]
