7 Periodical Maintenance by TOKYO K E W Service

It is recommended to keep ECDIS in good repair by TOKYO KEIKI service at least once a year,
though the period is dependent on frequency of use.

21.1.8 When Error or Failure Happens ...


When some kinds of errors or failures happened, check them based on the description in 21.2
'Troubleshooting'. Contact a TOIMEC service and to inform the following when such
conditions are not improved.

- (Estimated)time & date of arrival

- TEUFAXJe-mail of yours or ship agent


- Name &type of the equipment
- Manufacturer's serial number
- Failure info.
- What is shown on the screen
