Personal Development (Agile)
Overview:
For this week, you will recognize your coping mechanisms and tendencies when under stress.
Therefore, you are expected to complete the following tasks within Week 2:

1. Take a Stress Coping Skills Test


2. Discuss your stress management style

Then at the end of this week, you will be able to:


● Gain knowledge, speci cally:
○ Can understand a given social situation and identify the best course of action to
respond with.

● Develop skills in:


○ Teamwork, Level 3-4: Can e ectively COMMUNICATE, COOPERATE and
COLLABORATE with others, in small or large groups, to accomplish a common
goal.

● Increase Domain-Speci c Skills in:


○ ESL PRONUNCIATION, Level 2: Can properly pronounce words in a neutral
accent.
○ ESL GRAMMAR, Level 2: Can communicate intended messages using proper
conventions.
○ ESL FLUENCY, Level 2-3: Can e ectively give a relevant and complete response
to a prompt using the right amount of words.

This format is the same across all the learner guides that you will access for this course. Weekly
tasks and durations are speci ed to ensure that you complete your deliverables each week. You
can spend less or more time per task than the speci ed duration depending on your capability to
complete the work; however, be mindful of the output due dates.

Locate your class synchronous session link (e.g. A01 12AM-1 Sync Session) in the
Announcements section under the Course Introduction in the LMS.

Week 2 Tasks:

2. Record an Audio of Your Group Discussion on Stress Management.
3. Write down your key takeaways for the week in the LMS.

WATCH Watch the VIDEO: Understanding Stress. You may choose to read the
TRANSCRIPT: Understanding Stress instead if you have VERY LIMITED
internet access.

ANSWER 1. Record an audio le of your group discussion on your stress


management styles.

2. Update the ACCOMPLISHMENT TRACKER so your facilitator can


monitor your progress.

This activity must be completed within Session 4 of Week 2.
