Part 1: ARITHMETIC SEQUENCE

A pattern is a series or sequence that repeats.

You can observe patterns - things like colors, shapes, actions, or other
sequences that repeat - everywhere.

One common type of Math pattern is a number pattern.

Number patterns are a sequence of numbers that are ordered based upon a rule.

Example of Number Patterns:

Complete the pattern, and find out the rule:
Example 1.) 12 16 20 24 28
Rule : adding 4 to the given number 12+4 =16, then 16+4=20, then 20+4=24, then 24+4=28
Got it !
Example 2.) 84 74 64 54 44
Did you notice the pattern?

Rule : subracting 10 to the given number 84-10=74, then 74-10=64, then 64-10=54,
Then 54-10 = 44
Got it !
