Class Behavior Policy:

1. PRACTICE BEING PRESENT: We all love our phones. I love my phone. That being said, please put
your phone away for our class time together. While you may feel okay about distracting
yourself, chances are, your behavior is distracting someone else as well. Please do not waste
their time or my time by having your phone out. Please let me know before class begins at
9:30am if there is something urgent that you may need to take on your phone, and we can work
together to come up with a solution for this exception.

2. We will model a respectful atmosphere of learning in our classroom. When someone is

speaking, whether it is the teacher or a fellow student, we will respect them and not talk at the same
time they are talking.
