Take a picture of yourself showing and illustrating the different concepts of technology. Create a collage
of pictures that you have taken for every Concepts of Technology mentioned below. After that you need to
explain what can be seen in each collage of pictures for every concepts of technology. Follow the given rubrics
below.

Different Concepts of Technology

These are the softwares that I use almost everyday. The microsoft word is used mainly for documentation,
whenever I need to do some documents, this is the software to go, it is used to do my assignments, activities
and quiz and/or exams, I also use MS word to take some notes if I have to. excel is good for storing data, so
if I ever come across something that needs to be stored in a table, I use this because it is more organized than
the MS word and because I can create different sheets for different data sets, all I need is one file and I can
store them easily. next is my folders for my files not only in school but also for my everyday life,as you can
see, I created a folder named online that contains 2 folder inside, 1st sem and 2nd sem, inside of them is the
individual folders for my subjects that I am currently taking, I did this because I want my files to be
organized because it will be easier for me to locate a file when I have to, after these I have the sticky notes,
this is a software that is already installed to my computer because this software belongs to the OS itself, so
since it is here, I want to use it to its fullest, but i just used it for reminders, basically, not all of my subject
have a google classroom so i need to improvise. finally, i have the visual studio, I rarely use it these days
because I am no longer taking a computer related course, but last sem, I find a way to use it, as you can see
in the picture above, I have there a table, chart, some text under the table and a single button, I created this
software because I want to make answering assignments in math easier, to use this software, you just need to
enter the given values of X and Y and after that, the software will compute everything else for the user, this
is so convenient because i can finish answering an assignment with less than 5 minutes, for me this software
is not a cheat or something similar, because in order to create this software, the creator should be
knowledgeable about the formula in each equation, and since I know these equations, I am technically not
cheating, anyway the software that I created solve a problem, the problem is solving by the use of calculator
took more time,for comparison, if I use calculator for solving, it would take a minimum of 15 mins to finish
an activity including the time that I need to draw a table, draw a scatter plot and write my answer to the
paper, but with this software, it is much faster.
2. Technology as the collection of tools, including machinery, modifications, arrangements and procedures.

these is what I use to present something and to notify me if is needed to be done, the first is my computer, I
can do all the things that is needed to be done because of this device, this is where i made all of my
presentations, assignments and other things, this computer uses 3 hard disk drives, the first hard disk is for
the operating system and other software I need, the second is for my study, I intend to save all the files that I
created in here and the final drive is for my personal use, since I have 3 drives my computer is not running
out of space and continue to perform great, this is the reason why I can present without having a technical
issue, when I present something, it is all smooth and don’t have any delay. Gmail is my email of choice
because it is simple and easy to use, I can compose a mail easily, I am using this not only for my study but
also for other technology related transactions. I use the MS powerpoint and google meet in tandem,
whenever my time to report comes, I use powerpoint to create a presentation and google meet to show it in
class, in the time of old-normal, powerpoint and projector or smart tv is used to present something in front
of class or meeting but in the new-normal, what we use often is powerpoint and google meet or other
meeting applications/softwares.
3. Other gadgets as Technology.

the pictures above shows things that fall under the category of appliances except for one, the image at the
upper left corner was a screenshot of a software called internet download manager, I decided to include this
software here because it makes my life easier, for example, if I have an online class and at the same time I
need to download something important, I can download the file without worrying about the quality of the
online meeting because i can manually adjust the download speed unlike the regular download function in
the browser. The rest is appliances that can help us in our daily living, these few appliances make our lives
easier and lessen the time we consume in doing one task, some of these help us in multi-tasking and
preserving foods.
4. The Teacher as Technology.

The set of pictures above shows how teachers use technology to deliver knowledge to their students, in the
traditional teaching, the technology that the student have in classroom are the books and teacher, the students
at that time do not realize that a simple book and a teacher is a technology because the students have a very
narrow classification of technology, if you are to ask them, technology is only limited in electronic gadgets.
These days, we have a very vast variety of technology that can be used to make learning more interactive and
fun. Some examples of these technologies are shown above, these examples were the main tools that the
teachers are using to fulfill their role as technology. they can give their students instructions, lessons,
assignments, quizzes, exams and activities by the help of these web applications.
