DECLARATION
I Velagandula Divyaleela pursuing PGDM from ITM Business
School, Warangal have completed Industrial Internship Program at a
very prominent and resourceful organization, “Finlatics” on project
work entitled “Financial Markets Equity Program” under the guidelines
of Mr.Rohan Pathare and Ms.Nishika Sharma.
I have undergone Industrial Internship Program from 17-06-2021
to 31-07-2021 at Finlatics. The work is completed in compliance with
the procedure and standards set by the institute.
Executive Summary
Finlatics is a prestigious organization which helps the students and
professionals to explore and learn stock markets through financial programs. It
offers 2 programs namely Financial Markets experience program and
Investment banking experience program. It also gives an opportunity to the
students to maintain and regulate portfolio of BSE Index consisting of 500
listed companies by providing virtual money.
My learning experience with Finlatics, it made me to search, learn and
analyze the given tasks and helped us to learn new terminologies involved in
the research. The tasks made me to analyze how stock markets works and gave
some real techniques to work. This internship is designed excellently an gave
us an opportunity to analyze the basics of stock markets and equity research
by industry from an investor’s view point and the flexible working hours in
offline mode makes it more favorable for the students.
The interns can also develop their skills and basics by learning concepts
which are provided to them through account and login facility. Moreover
students can assess themselves by attempting assessment tests soon after
listening to the lectures. It also provides market updates and trends of BSE
movements where you can track all the performances of companies and keep
updated.
In this program, Equity research by following basics like Porters 5 force
analysis and SWOT Analysis is fundamental and challenging activity which
involves maintaining a portfolio by investing virtual money and measure our
performance with BSE Index using a parameter called Finsco

INTRODUCTION
Financial Markets:
Securities are the financial instruments that allow the transfer of
money from these who have it to those who need it. And securities
includes broad universe of financial instruments. It includes:
Debt
Fixed deposits and
Equity
Debt is something where one party owes to the other party under a
condition that payment is done back with some pre agreed interest.
Here, again various types based on the nature like collatorised debt
where collateral can be taken by the borrower in case of default. And
some other debts like convertible debt and Non-convertible debt.
Equity securities are those which are popularly known as stocks
represents a part of ownership in the company. It represents the book
value of a company. Equity represents the value that would be returned
to a company’s shareholders if all of the assets were liquidated and all
of the company's debts were paid off. The key motive of equity
investment I s the value appreciation.
