Viewing is one of the macro-skills that is necessary to enhance because it is
an avenue to boost your critical thinking skills. Viewing along with the four macro-
skills moves you to react and respond to what you viewed and read.

Moreover, knowing the various classifications of the viewed materials will also
guide you to be aware on what specific genre should you use or watch for specific
purposes. For example, if you want to be entertained, updated or informed, then you
know what kind of viewing materials are appropriate to watch or use.

Viewing is a meaningful experience in the developmental learning of the students.
It is a process that strengthens the other macro-skills of the students in English. Through
