Admin Related Tasks

We have 5 types of Admin Task in VETCO-SG

 Creating the User Profile


 Giving Access to MAPICS modules
 Giving Access to Order-Entry, Chase, Sub-System(AS/400)
 Giving Access to Query Lib
 Creating The Library for User

NOTE:
 While granting the access mainly we need to check the location like whether user is asking
for SG or Batam or China.
 Then need to check what user is looking for exactly.
 Checks even work notes if you will not get anything from the top options.

Creating User Profile: To create user profile we need sample User ID’s. The User Id’s As follows
for location wise
Singapore: Divya
Batam : FDWI
China : CDWI

Give the command WRKUSRPRF on command line.

And press enter

Here give User profile as Keerthi for Singapore. (Divya for In production as it is not there in TEST
ENv I took as Keerthi)

Press enter

Give the option 3 to copy

Press enter

Give the User Profile as SSO followed by S and change the password field same as USER Profile.
Set password expired to YES and Status As ENABLED. Change the Text Description as User name.

And press Page down Button Two times you will get the below screen

Here Change the Accounting Code as User SSO

Then press enter. User profile will be created.

NOTE: After Creating userid we need to send email to user with credentials.

Giving Access to AS400-MAPICS Modules:

Go to Mapics

GE Internal
Select Application as CAS

GE Internal
Select option 3

Select option 8 to give the header level access.

GE Internal
Select option 1

Give here your userid. I.e. S502225627 and press enter

GE Internal
Here enter the user name as Userid of user who requested for access. And the Action Code is A first
time and Application id is I for IM

Here change the clearance to Y which application functions user requested and press enter.

If user asked access for Purchasing also then goback and Give the Action Code as C and Application
ID as 6.

Once you have given the header level access then need to give access in Personal Menu
Maintenanace.

Go to CAS--> 3--->7

Here select option 2

Press Enter

Here give the userid and application id

GE Internal
Press Enter and give the access to submenus in IM which user requested.

Giving Access to Order Entry, Chase, Sub System(AS400) :

Give the WRKOBJ command

Press Enter

Then give the object as DP007C and Library AS SIGLIB for SG

Here we have 3 libraries

SIGLIB for Singapore


BOELIB for Batam
COELIB for China

Press enter

Press Enter

Press F6 to add user

GE Internal
Give user sso followd by S and Object authority as *USE

Press enter.

Giving Access to Query Lib:

Give the command WRKAUTL

GE Internal
PRESS ENTER

Give QRY*

Press Enter

Give Option 2

GE Internal
Press Enter

Press F6 to give the Query lib access

Give the user details here.

GE Internal
Press Enter.

Creating Library for User:

If user created request with empty then we need to check work notes which entered by user , if he is
asking for creating library then we need to create library for him.

CRTLIB

PRESS ENTER and give the lib name as First name or second name followed by LIB

i.e LIBSWAPNA
