MACRO PERSPECTIVE
OF TOURISM AND
HOSPITALITY
JASMINE F. ABLANQUE 1A BSTM
How did the pandemic affect your life
in terms of lifestyle?
LIFESTYLE
My name is Jasmine F. Ablanque, and my experience with
pandemic has had a significant impact on my lifestyle.
Before COVID 19, I spent my days in school, bonding with
my friends and relatives; however, since then, I have
become a slacker, addicted to social media, and, most
importantly, sleep deprived. I'm thankful that I was able
to stay alive for over a year during the pandemic. It's
difficult, but I gave it my all, especially given my status as
a student.
PHYSICAL HEALTH
My physical activity includes exercising
at home, which I used to do to maintain a
healthy lifestyle. To acquire weight, I eat
a lot of food, and to stay healthy, I eat a
lot of fruits and vegetables.
SOCIAL RELATIONSHIP
I spent more time on social media during the
pandemic. I used social media to
communicate with my friends. We utilized it to
play online games as well. We can divert our
attention away from our sadness still being
able to have a good time. To escape boredom,
I visit my friends' houses on occasion.
PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH
During this epidemic, I had depression as a result of all of
the challenges and challenging situations, particularly
as a student, but I am now doing well and have resolved
to battle this by being connected to my family and
socializing with people to avoid overthinking.
What do you think will be the future of the
industry since there is a threat of the new
omicron virus?
Individuals are known to devise ways to
to defy the new normal, and as we continue to do so,
We must be vigilant in our efforts to combat the
pandemic.
Nothing is impossible in my mind and heart.
and that there is always hope for a better future.
The omicron virus will affect the environment.
Because we're still getting used to it, we're in the
industry.
Moving forward with the new normal.
Merry Christmas!
