Course Description:
This is a course which provides pre-service English teachers with an in-depth understanding of
content knowledge on the grammatical concepts of the English language. It focuses on developing
their ability to use the phonological, lexical, syntactic, and semantic structures of English in written
and oral communication. It further equips them with skills in explaining the form, meaning and use
of various English language structure which are useful in their role as future facilitators of
language teaching and learning.
