1- Planning and Organising
Teachers can plan their lesson ahead of the class and get all the study supply ready for that
lesson as this will make the teacher command the classroom properly without any delaying
which will make students be in discipline and focus on the lesson rather than misbehaving in
the classroom.
2 – Tackle problems early
Another way to maintain discipline in the classroom is to quickly address the smallest of an
issue as this will make students feel they are being valued and this will encourage them to
keep themselves disciplined whereas if teachers neglected the smaller issue, that small issue
will become big and students will get discouraged to follow rules and regulations classroom
discipline will get affected due to it so it’s better to tackle problems early.
3 – Right balance of Rules and Regulation
Schools should have the right balance of rules and regulations as if there are low sets of rules
and regulations students won’t learn discipline whereas if there is a high code of conducts
this will make student frustrated and become disobedient so keeping freedom of students in
mind schools should create rules and regulations that are necessary and remove the one that is
not required.
4 – Explain Rules to Students
Students should know the rules and regulations of the schools this will help them follow the
rules better and it set boundaries for them and they develop discipline overtime, So Once the
rules and regulations are set by the school’s teachers should take some time out and explain
students about the rules and regulations this will make students well informed about the rules
and they will behave accordingly.
5 – Walk the Talk
Everyone in the schools whether it’s the teacher, management, other staff should follow the
rules and regulations as this will set an example for the students as they will obey the rules if
they saw their senior and teachers following.
6 – Make classroom Interactive
The teacher should use educational technology like Augmented Realty. Gamification of
Lesson or use multimedia to make the lesson as interactive as possible will make students
engaged with the lesson and they will focus more on learning and understanding rather than
being mischievous.
7 – Move around the class
When a teacher moves round the class rather than just standing in front of them will make
mischievous students uneasy as the backbencher are the one that creates most mischief in
class so if teacher walk around the class it will make even backbencher behave properly as
they feel they are under teacher supervision.
8 – Reward Good Behaviour
A teacher should always reward the students who are well disciplined as it will encourage
other students to behave well in the classroom. Teachers know very well which students are
paying attention to and which one misbehaves in class so they can plan the reward for good
behaving students
9 – Teachers should stay Professional
Many teachers in order to connect better become too friendly with the students and students
started to take teachers order lightly and start misbehaving in the classroom so the teacher
should always be professional and instead of becoming friends they should become a mentor
to those students and guide them to be in discipline and achieve higher goals.
10 – Being Optimistic
The teacher should have positive behavior when it comes to making students discipline as
teachers should create an environment where students feel comfortable to express themselves
and when teachers have a positive attitude it will help to create discipline in the classroom.
