How is it important to learn these natural objects in the sky?

- Our sun is important because it gives us light during daytime and
heat to do many things in our daily lives. The clouds are also
important because it helps to protect us from the sun’s heat
during daytime and they serve as a blanket to keep us from
getting cold during nighttime. Our moon is important because it
serves as our light during nighttime and makes our planet Earth
habitable by humans. The stars are also important because its
light give people light and they make life on our planet Earth.

d. Application
The class will be divided into two groups, the first and second
column. The students are expected to participate in an activity that the
teacher prepared. The first group should present a drawing of the sky during
daytime and the second group should present a drawing of the sky during
nighttime. While presenting their outputs, each group should identify the
objects that they have drawn and describe each objects. In making their
outputs, they should follow this rubric to have a guide:

The response of the teacher would be:
Yes, that’s right! All of your answers are correct! The natural objects
that are found in the sky during daytime are sun and clouds while the natural
objects that are found in the sky during nighttime are moon, stars and
clouds. The sun is the brightest object we can see in the sky during daytime.
It is a huge ball of hot gases. Clouds are made up of tiny water droplets that
stay together and float in the sky. The moon is blurredly seen during daytime
because of the sun’s light is getting reflected away from us and it is also the
Earth’s natural satellite. Stars appear in different colors. Their surface color
depends to their temperature. And also, we can appreciate the value of
God’s creation in our lives by taking care of our planet Earth.
