Examination :
Video consultation during the assessment of this child. The child appears to be active, accepting orally
well, with no fever. No other warning signs. No fresh complaints were given by care providers at home.
Doctor Recommendations :
Mouth Gargling with Saltwater + Turmeric.
Tab. Azee 500mg- 1 tab - once daily with food X 5 days.
Tab. Zincovit - 1 tab – once daily X 2- 4 weeks.
Tab. Pantop 40mg - 1 tab - Early Morning on empty stomach X 7 days.
Tab. Dolo 650 - 1 tab - Gap - 6 hrly - x 2 days.- avoid on empty stomach.
Cold - Tab. Montair LC - 1 tab - Evening X days.
Cough - Tus-Q Cough Lozenzes - 1 - thrice daily x 3-5 days.
Vomitning - Tab. Ondem 4mg - 1 tab - SOS - Thrice daily x 1-2 days - 30 min before food.
Avoid on Empty Stomach. Monitor & Record Temp. Plenty of Fluids
Monitor O2 saturations at least thrice daily.
W/F Fast Breathing / No Intake / Persistant High fever spikes / Dull & Decreased activity.- then
requires testing / Admission.
Home Isolation for 10 days
Review SOS /after 3-5 days.
As per ICMR guidelines close contact of COVID positive, patient should be home isolated.
It is very important to count the days of symptoms from onset 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
Personal hygiene, social distancing, hygienic practices and care of infected person
(symptomatic/asymptomatic)
Contact and droplet precautions (Using face mask), social distancing and hand hygiene to be followed.
All people with symptoms and those living with them, would need to be self isolated.
Follow your doctor's advise regarding use of medicines to decrease fever.
Get plenty of rest and do not over exert yourself.

Try to keep at least 2 meters (3 steps) from other people in your home.
Ask friends, family, and delivery services to deliver things like food, medicines, but leave them outside.
Regularly wash your hands with soap and warm water for 20 seconds.it is very important to drink plenty
of fluids, especially purified water. Drink plenty of water to keep your throat moist at regular short
intervals. In case of a small child try giving small amount of liquids frequently.
Do not have visitors, do not leave your home.
When to seek medical advice on emergency
1. Difficulty in breathing/Labored or fast breathing.
2. Persistent pain/pressure in the chest/continuous cough.
3. Change in sense of smell or taste.
4. Mental Confusion/Drowsiness to arouse/reduced conscious level
5. Developing bluish discoloration lips and face (SPo2 less than 95%).
6. Decreased urine output.
7. Reduced feeding/not tolerating feeds (less than 50% of normal or frequent vomiting)
8. Reduced frequency of urination (should pass urine at least 4 times/day).
Parental concerns are important and we take this seriously. If a parent is worried that his/her child is
becoming more unwell and needs a further assessment then please arrange VC or a visit to respective
