1 Bihu is celebrated three times in a year in Assam. The month of April brings colour to this fertile land.
Orchids hang from trees, the creeper bhebel bursts into flowers and other seasonal flowers grow wild in the
countryside. This Bihu- called the Rongali Bihu- is the most festive of all the Bihus. Women present gamochas
