VIII. Beneficiaries
In this Project Intervention Activity only the secondary and tertiary beneficiaries are
involved, that will participate in the tree planting activity.
Primary Beneficiaries - Environment
Tree and seed planting is often regarded as one of the most interesting,
ecologically beneficial activities in which people may participate to save the earth.
By planting more trees across the planet, in this case the community, we are
producing more oxygen and fresh air to breathe. Filtering out the harmful gases in
the atmosphere.
Secondary Beneficiaries - Residents in the community
Since planting can eradicate air pollution, it can result in a healthier
environment for the community. It can also lessen the risk of some people getting
harmful diseases ensuring the well-being of every person in the barangay.
Furthermore, planting seeds can ensure a more healthy food for the family. People
who are constantly exposed to and surrounded by plants feel more peaceful and
comfortable, lowering their anxiety levels. Improves memory and attention. Lastly,
the community will be educated on how to properly grow and take care of seeds.
Tertiary Beneficiaries - Youth
Gardening stimulates all of the senses, allowing the youth to develop and
recognize them without even realizing it. Gardening necessitates practice and the
development of fine motor skills. Planting seeds, shoveling dirt, and watering

plants all assist kids strengthen motor skills, which can increase their focus and
learning abilities in the long run.
Quaternary Beneficiaries - Farmers
Tree planting increases biodiversity in a specific region, prevents soil
erosion, and increases soil's ability to store water. Integrating trees on farms
benefits farmers, particularly those who are trying to cope with the effects of
climate change. Also, farmers can benefit from this project since fruit-bearing trees
provide farmers with additional income.
IX. Rationale of the project
Masaganang lahi bunga ng isang binhi: A step forward towards a
greener life is important to be implemented in Barangay Sinala, Bauan, Batangas.
With the increasing risk of having infectious diseases due to the pandemic it is vital
to take care of our surroundings. Having more trees and plants will help in cleaning
the air we breathe resulting in a healthier lifestyle. The reason behind the
implementation of the project in this particular community is due to the fact that the
proponent is currently residing in Barangay Sinala. The activity is highly
recommended to be conducted in the community because its environmental
aspect should be attended to. Sinala, Bauan, Batangas is located in a very
secluded area. In order to ensure the cleanliness of the surroundings we must take
care of our environment through gardening and tree planting. The community will
not just be benefited environmentally but also emotionally and mentally. This

pandemic has brought the people a lot of struggles, challenges and miseries.
However, this activity could help the community in alleviating that stress, make
enjoyable memories and socially interact with other people to cope up with their
problems. Moreover, it may seem like a small act but it will go a long way when
more people are encouraged to do so. Furthermore, the said project will serve as
an instrument to protect the community’s overall health, such as maintaining their
positive outlook and also an opportunity to increase their livelihood.
“Masaganang lahi bunga ng isang binhi: A step forward towards a
greener life” is also taking part in the Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs) in
which it aims to achieve SGD number 7 and 13. That focuses on a cleaner
environment and to mitigate the impact of climate change on our planet.
Lastly, in terms of calamities that often happen in the country like typhoons,
having more trees is a need to prevent disasters, such as flooding, soil erosion
and other natural phenomena. Economically speaking, trees can help the
community to save money, especially on energy costs. While gardening and
planting seeds in your house improve your overall health. One of the most
essential things you can do to be healthy is to eat more fresh fruits and vegetables.

XI. Description of the Project
The community service project "Masaganang lahi bunga ng isang binhi: A step

The first action (proper environmental management practices) consists of
orienting participants and performing a small webinar/seminar with collaborating partners
about the activity that will be implemented in the community.
The second activity (Project CLAYGO) will concentrate on cleaning the area
where gardening and tree planting will take place. Other sections of the barangay that
requires immediate cleaning will also be included.
Third Activity (Gardening and Tree Planting) is the main event or program of
the project proposal. It is the gardening and tree planting proper.
Every action that will be carried out will be overseen by the project proponent and
cooperating partners to guarantee that it is carried out properly. Assuming that the
activities would be enjoyed by the participants from Barangay SInala, Bauan, Batangas.
Starting March 5, 2022, and ending April 23, 2022, it will be implemented every Saturday
for one and a half hour. That was authorized and supported by the heads involved in this
project.
Components of the Project Proposal
1. Brainstorming
During this stage, the proponent gathered data from the target site to determine
what major activity or project will please the beneficiaries and learn a lot from the project
that will be implemented. I create an environmental program based on the information
obtained, including seminars and activities such as tree planting, gardening, and cleaning.

development of inhabitants' self-experiences and social interactions in Barangay Sinala,
Bauan, Batangas.
2. Planning
In this section, I gathered the necessary information about the target audience as
well as the appropriate time allotment for the activities. I planned a variety of activities to
help the attendees learn in a more fun way. Planning is an important aspect of the project
since it identifies how the project will be started and completed as a whole.
3. Preparation
During this time, the overarching idea or plan, such as how the preparation is going
and formulating strategies for implementing the activities and materials, should be
concluded.
4. Implementation
This is the most important stage since the project's goal must be met and achieved
throughout the planning process. This step entails reaching out to potential participants,
participating in the assigned activities on Saturdays, and, most importantly, maintaining
a positive working relationship between the proponent and collaborating partners.

XII. Strategies and Methods of Implementation
This document is awaiting approval. This paper's content is crucial in distinguishing
the specific plan. For example, it's crucial to figure out what the project's aim is, when it'll
happen, where it'll happen, and who the intended beneficiaries are. Following the
approval of this paper, the next stage is to act on the various partners participating in the
project. It is critical to hold numerous meetings throughout the implementation phase to
convey information within the group if any changes occur. The proponent should study
every aspect of the day's activity, including the venue, supplies, and seeds to be utilized.
Furthermore, a detailed timeline for each transition phase of the activity is required.
In addition, the project's proponent, with the assistance of collaborating partners, should
be actively doing their assigned responsibilities to assure the correctness and
effectiveness of each activity. Furthermore, it is vital to recognise and thank those who
contributed to the project's implementation following the activity.
Following processes needed to accomplish the desired result of the project:
1. Safety protocols
Republic of the Philippines
BATANGAS STATE UNIVERSITY
NATIONAL SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM
Batangas City
Implementation of necessary health measures will be severely imposed by the
proponent, with the assistance of the councils. Starting with adequate hand washing and
alcohol application prior to the commencement of each activity. It is also guaranteed that
everyone will be wearing face masks for the length of the event.
2. Webinar
The orientation and webinar will begin when the desired activities for everyone's
protection have been implemented. Significantly, activities and breaks will be provided to
ensure that the participants have a good time during the program.
3. Cleaning Proper
Health safety will take precedence above all other measures, like it has in the
previous. Because we are constantly exposed to the environment and filth. The
participants' equipment is either given by the project coordinators or they bring their own
cleaning/sweeping supplies.
4. Gardening and Tree Planting Proper
The tools and seeds that will be utilized in the undertaking is provided by the project
head and the cooperating partners. There’s different kind of seeds and plants to be
planted every week in order to maximize the soil quality and provide a better outcome for
the project.

Good day Mrs. Dimayuga,
A blessed day, I, Jaerald Estioco, a student of Batangas State University's National
Student Training Program - Civic Welfare Training Service, have picked your barangay
for our community service project. The goal of such a project, in particular, is to safeguard
the neighborhood from environmental hazards while also encouraging sustainability via
cleaning and gardening. I am asking authorization from your great office to implement this
type of community activity, which includes a webinar on effective environmental
management, a community clean-up drive, and the planting of seeds, trees, and plants
that will aid in the further growth of our barangay. The proposed activity is expected to
last up to two months.
I'm looking for a favorable reaction and consideration from you. Thank you, and
may God bless you.
Yours truly,
