The document is an observation guide for a classroom visit conducted by Bayao, Aiman Ali S. for their Field Study 1 course. Some key points from the observation include: - The classroom environment was light and spacious, with storage areas at the back to maximize student space. - Classroom rules like raising hands and waiting for permission to speak were observed. Students participated well and asked questions. - Noise level was minimal with only the teacher speaking most of the time. The reflection discusses imagining teaching Grade 7 students and applying classroom management lessons, like enforcing rules, to create an engaging learning environment.

📌 My OBSERVATION
Tool
My OBSERVATION Notes
Based on my observation on the classroom management that I have spectated, the
classroom environment is light and spacious which is a good sign of an environment for
students to be engaged in the class. There are areas in the classrooms which are meant for
storage of books and cleaning materials which are located at the back of the room in order
to maximize the space where the students arranged their seats. Some of the rules that I have
observed is that when answering, the student must raise his/her hand and wait to be given
the permission by the teacher to speak. The students are also required to keep quiet and pay
attention when the teacher is discussing. I have also observed that students are participating
well in the discussion and they interact with the teacher whenever he/she asks questions.
Some students ask questions for clarification to avoid confusions which is a good sign that
the students are learning. Seating arrangements and daily routines were not observed due
to the limited length of the teaching demonstration. The noise level of the classroom was
minimal and the only voice being heard is the teacher. Students are only talking whenever
they have questions or they answer the questions given by the teacher.

My Reflection

Share your insights here. Imagine yourself organizing your classroom in the future. In what
grade/year level do you see yourself? What classroom management would you consider for this
level? Why

In the future, I imagine myself managing Grade 7 students. Since I am still new in
teaching, I will be assigned in a low grade level in order to be familiarized with classroom
management and handle new students in high school. With regards to classroom management,
I will be applying the things that I have learned in this topic in order to create an engaging
learning environment for my students which will make them learn about my topic which is
Mathematics. I will also try my best to teach my materials in order for students at this level to
learn to love the subject and bring their learning on the next grade level.
In terms of specifying what steps I would take in managing the classroom which I will be
handling in the future, asserting discipline would be a good start because the students will learn
how to act in the classroom whenever we are having a discussion. Enforcing classroom rules
and regulations such as raising the hand and waiting for permission to speak may be a good
start since it will train my students to pay attention in class and avoid talking during the
discussion.
