Conceptual Framework Input Process Output

The document presents a conceptual framework for a study on the benefits of traffic sensor systems. The framework shows that input data will be gathered from survey respondents about their age, occupation, vehicle used, and awareness. The data will then be analyzed statistically to understand benefits of traffic sensor systems, which detect vehicle numbers and automatically adjust traffic lights, compared to traditional fixed-time traffic lights. The output will be understanding benefits of traffic sensor systems for drivers and commuters as an alternative to traditional traffic light systems.

Figure 1.

Figure 1 describes the conceptual framework of the study wherein the input is the profile

of the respondents consisting of the following: Age, Occupation, type of vehicle being used, and

the respondent's awareness.

On the other hand, the process being used is through a questionnaire, descriptive survey,

and statistical treatment such as percentage, mean, and tallied. The process of the proposed

solution system is also indicated. The output is the benefits of Traffic Sensor Systems for Drivers

and Commuters as an alternative for Traditional traffic light fixed-time systems.

The researchers want to determine the difference between traditional traffic light fixed-

time systems and Traffic Sensor Systems and how the traffic sensor system could pave the way

for traffic congestion and avoidance of further traffic delays.
