TODAY, this task of introducing our guest of honor and speaker is a great privilege.

I know this one is


difficult but the thought that she is a woman of virtue and simplicity, I feel elated to introduce her to
everyone.

If one takes a closer look at the alchemy of the achieving person, two distinct virtues pop up, besides
perseverance and hard work. These are pioneering spirit and willingness. Our guest of honor and
speaker today is the living idiom of a woman who happened to be born at the right time and at the right
place. Coupled with an impressive background, it was not therefore surprising that she became a
devoted public servant. She had become the person she is now because of the virtues and values that
was developed and nurtured in her during her education at University of Sto. Tomas, with a degree of
Commerce and with her Master’s in National Security Administration, National Defense College of the
Philippines, Camp Aguinaldo Quezon City, and pursued her Law School at San Beda College.

On 1992-1995, she has been a councilor of San Nicolas Pangasinan, followed by being a board member
on 1998-2007, then became a vice Governor of Pangasinan from 2007-2010. From 2010-2019 and 2022
up to this day, she is the 6th District Representative of Pangasinan.

Our guest of honor and speaker was born in Tayug Pangasinan and is married to former Congressman,
Atty. Tyrone Agabas. With their marriage, they were blessed with 2 children.

And now, my friends, ladies and gentlemen, I feel very proud to present to you, the 6 th District
Representative of Pangasinan, Please help me welcome. Hon. Atty, Marlyn Primicias-Agabas! Lets give
her a warm of applause!
