Project Spellbound (working title)

First shot of black for several seconds followed by white text fading in then fading out. TITLE: 1999 1 year after the Final Battle of Hogwarts FROM THE BLACK WE HEAR ISABELLE (V.O) Are you sure this is safe? There is a short pause and with a slightly shaken voice, ROBERT (V.O) No. FADE IN: INT. FOREST - EVENING There is a strange eeriness to the place, where everything is still but on occasions the wind gives life to the area. The area looks as if it hasnt been touched for years. There is a lot of overgrowth but there is a vague path set out where the wary protagonists begin to walk slowly through. We see several different shots of the foliage, most of which are fairly still. The title credits layer on top of the shots; with each we slowly get a further glimpse of the 2 figures, until we see them in full shot. - AT THAT POINT: ISABELLE We couldve called in further backup you know. ROBERT I dont think we couldve risked it. ISABELLE Well it cant be that much more of a risk than just us 2 being here. ROBERT doesnt respond to ISABELLEs concerns but seems aware of the danger. ISABELLE doesnt raise an issue, understanding what ROBERT is thinking.

Cut to high shot with the 2 walking as the camera pans up. CUT TO: Shot of burning fire, we see a series of documents being thrown in. The camera pans out revealing 4 hooded figures sat around the burning paper. Each of them barely moves an inch when talking to each other. They raise their eyes to look at one another when talking but remain stationary otherwise. As the conversation between them commences one of the figures continue burning the files. (For the purposes of simplicity, we dont know the final specifications on who will play the 4 death eaters, so for the time Ill number them) DEATH EATER 1 How much longer is it all going to take? DEATH EATER 2 We dont know. We cant deal with any of them until we can guarantee theyre fate. DEATH EATER 1 Who cares?! We have intelligence of their location! (An evil smile begins and a sense of desperation emerges) DEATH EATER 1 Lets just kill them! And get this over and done with! DEATH EATER 3 stands up. The attention turns straight to him and the others for the first time raise their heads up with a slight hint of shock in each of them. DEATH EATER 4 stops burning the papers. We begin to understand DEATH EATER 3 is the main leader of the group. DEATH EATER 3 You know we cant do that. DEATH EATER 3 turns away from the group, but continues to talk. DEATH EATER 3 We have to keep a low profile as it is. If one word gets around that the Ministry missed any Death Eaters theyd send out a search party so big we wouldnt live past the full moon. If we want to get rid of these Freedom Fighters if you even want to call them that, we have to

dispose of them stealthily. They know were out here, but I know the ministry wouldnt believe a word of it unless they had an actual encounter. DEATH EATER 3 turns and sits back down and looks at each one in the group individually. DEATH EATER 3 And we dont want them to have an encounter that doesnt end up with them removed. No one says anything, but everyone seems to have taken in the message and agree with him. We sense that there is a slight sense of fear between DEATH EATER 3 and the rest of them and no one intends to speak out of line. CUT TO: FOREST AWAY FROM FIRE ISABELLE What do you actually suppose we do when we find them? ROBERT continues to blank ISABELLE, frustrated not at ISABELLE, but at the situation. ISABELLE Robert! ROBERT I dont really know Isabelle We need to locate them and see what their numbers are like to start with. JOE said this was the meeting point hed been tipped off with. Maybe with a little luck we could hear a little bit of their plans? I just have no intention to get into a brawl with them. ISABELLE Well lets lay low, ISABELLE looks at her wand ISABELLE Im getting larder readings of further magic presence. This is the pla ROBERT Shhh! ISABELLE looks up. They see a glow in the distance and begin walking towards it.

CUT TO: MEETING SCENE AT THE FIRE IN THE FOREST DEATH EATER 2 Hey, DEATH EATER 4! There is a sense that DEATH EATER 4 is considered the lower rank of the group, and as such the rest view him in a fairly lower regard. DEATH EATER 2 How are those files going? DEATH EATER 4 There are a lot Why do we even need these burning though? DEATH EATER 1 and 2 seem to have heard the story before. They seem annoyed by his lack of vision at the situation and get quite infuriated. DEATH EATER 4 does not appear to lack any intelligence, or look weaker however. One of the 2 advancing Death Eaters nearly pulls out their wand. DEATH EATER 3 doesnt approve of the 2 angry Death Eaters and begins to rise out of his seat. IN A MILDLY ANGRY TONE DEATH EATER 3 Hey! DEATHER EATER 1 and 2 immediately withdraw and sit back down, not at an alarming rate out of fear, but we do again see the example of DEATH EATER 3s apparent superior rank amongst the group. Now that peace has been briefly restored, DEATH EATER 3 slowly retakes his seat.

DEATH EATER 3 DEATH EATER 4, its important that we dont disclose the information about these. Its important we get rid of these for our own safety. DEATH EATER 4 still seems a little confused and also wary about questioning DEATH EATER 3

DEATH EATER 4 Bu DEATH EATER 3 Look, keep going. With a fairly surprising smile on his face, (one could suspect out of sympathy) DEATH EATER 3 stands up again and turns around looking into the distance. We see a shot of him, and over his shoulder. DEATH EATER 4 Damn The fire is starting to go out. DEATH EATER 4 reluctantly pulls out his wand and points it at the decreasing fire. DEATH EATER 4 Incendio! Small sparks fly out of the wand but the spell is a dud. Both DEATH EATER 4 and DEATH EATER 1 and 2 dont seem particularly surprised, but dont seem to look to blame DEATH EATER 4 or think its their fault. DEATH EATER 1 Hang on Ill get it. I think mine (wand) works a little better with fire spells. DEATH EATER 1 reaches for their pocket and pulls out their wand and points it at the lowering fire. DEATHER EATER 1 Incendio! The fire relights successfully. DEATH EATER 3 is still looking out. DEATH EATER 2 That got her going. DEATH EATER 3 continues to look out into the distance, we continue hearing some slightly inaudible conversation from the other DEATH EATERS seen below:

DEATH EATER 2 Weve been hiding out like this for weeks now. We need to start pushing forward and rebuild the army in the name of the Dark Lord! DEATH EATER 1 We cant do that until were sure that all these magic freelancers are taken care of so we can w Slowly the focus comes onto what DEATH EATER 3 has spotted in the distance. He begins to squint. Cuts to a shot of ISABELLE poking her head out of the bush/tree (anything) she is hiding behind, she notices she has been seen, her eyes widen and she very quickly hides back down. DEATH EATER 3 THEYRE HERE! Cuts to a very brief shot of ROBERT and ISABELLE hiding. ROBERT Oh crap. ISABELLE turns to ROBERT utterly frightened. ISABELLE What do we do? A tension noise is building up to where it reaches its climax (fairly similar to where Voldemort Avada Kedvras Harry in Deathly Hallows: Part 2) until it cuts off and we go back to ROBERT and ISABELLE ROBERT RUN. Cut back to the DEATH EATERS. DEATH EATER 3 shouts and fires a blast of white light at ISABELLE and ROBERTS hiding place. ISABELLE begins to run, ROBERT (emerging out of the bush for the first time) rises from the bush at speed. ROBERT Stupefy! All the death eaters try to manoeuvre out of the way but ROBERTS stupefy smacks DEATH EATER 2 in the chest. He

falls to the floor backwards; no other DEATH EATER looks back. ROBERT begins running with ISABELLE. The chase begins with DEATH EATER 3 leading, followed by DEATH EATER 1, then 4. DEATH EATER 2 clambers to his feet and continues the chase. ISABELLE and ROBERT run for their lives through the trees, the DEATH EATERS try to hit them through a variety of silent spells, most miss, but some are blocked by a Protego charm as either ISABELLE or ROBERT look back. ISABELLE Apperate! APPERATE Robert! We have to try! ROBERT Isabelle, we cant! You know we cant, we dont have enough power, and theres no doubt well splinch unless its our very lucky day. Both of them keep firing silent spells to try and slow the advancing DEATH EATERS. Suddenly DEATH EATER 2 runs ahead at alarming speed going after the one who stupefied them. DEATH EATER 2 Stupid boy! ROBERT looks back briefly, DEATH EATER 2 Incarcerous! ROBERT blocks the spell, immediately afterwards he points his wand at the floor ahead of him: ROBERT Expulso! ROBERTS spell hits the ground in between him and the DEATH EATERS causing an explosion. A dirt cloud emerges and visibility is bad. All the DEATH EATERS crash through with neither ROBERT nor ISABELLE in sight. Very anxiously under a whisper-DEATH EATER 3 No We can see that the battle is just as important for both sides, the good guys fighting for their lives and the bad

guys fighting to make sure that no one alive knows their whereabouts. With a loud shout by DEATH EATER 3, his forces split up immediately to cover a wider area and search for them. We cut to many different shots of each DEATH EATER running in search and shots of ISABELLE and ROBERT, most of which when seen in shot are constantly looking behind them. We cut to DEATH EATER 4, who meets ISABELLE at a side wards angle; DEATH EATER 4 spots ISABELLE a split second before she spots him. DEATH EATER 4 begins walking towards ISABELLE while she begins walking backwards to make up the distance. DEATH EATER 4 slowly raises his wand as ISABELLE trips over a branch backwards and falls to the ground, knocking the wand out of her hand. DEATH EATER 4 looks at her with a smug evil smile. DEATH EATER 4 The boss is gonna love me for this. ISABELLE remains still, afraid that one move and hell fire. DEATH EATER 4 (CONT.D) But an honourable death, is a death in pain. ISABELLE begins to shiver in fear and begins to squint waiting for her impending doom. With an over-acting full body display DEATH EATER 4 Crucio! Its a dud. The wand again fails leaving less than a spark and a puff of smoke. DEATH EATER 4 looks befuddled; ISABELLE goes from fear to anger. She picks up her wand in a quick rage rising from her fall as DEATH EATER 4 takes a step back looking in the same fear ISABELLE had moments ago. With an angry powerful flick of her arm ISABELLE Stupefy! This certain spell is seen to be very powerful; it blasts back DEATH EATER 4 sending him several feet away flat on

his stomach. ISABELLE begins retreating backwards still looking at him, until confirming he is no longer a threat, turns away and starts to run. The camera continues following ISABELLE as she keeps running. ISABELLE stops and sees ROBERT in the distance.

ISABELLE ROBERT! DEATH EATER 3 is right nearby the scene, he hears ISABELLE calling and rushes towards her with an angry smile on his face, nostrils flaring. ISABELLE seems frightened but tries to keep her cool and immediately and sternly fires a silent spell at DEATH EATER 3 that sends him to the ground, not as powerful as her previous Stupefy it seems however. All the other DEATH EATERS quickly join the scene including DEATH EATER 4 but he appears hurt. The DEATH EATERS seem almost in fear as they look at ISABELLE, not from her presence, but have seen that she has knocked back DEATH EATER 3 and know the consequences in store. ROBERT is running into the scene as DEATH EATER 3 begins to stand up, the DEATH EATERS dont seem to notice or care about ROBERTS arrival, they are entirely fixated on ISABELLE. ROBERT doesnt seem to notice the DEATH EATERS either. ROBERT ISABELLE! DEATH EATER 3 stands up, all the other DEATH EATERS stood behind him. ISABELLE begins running away, and ROBERT (still not noticing the DEATH EATER presence) runs towards ISABELLE, but is behind her although slightly to the right. As he is doing this DEATH EATER 3 has his wand pointed straight at ISABELLE. ISABELLE Robert ROBERT looks at DEATH EATER 3 quickly and prepares to draw his wand but it is too late. DEATH EATER 3 AVADA KEDAVRA!

A green beam of light instantly shoots out at alarming speeds straight towards ISABELLE. ROBERT looks at DEATH EATER 3. He leaps in front of the curse without a word and strikes him back and down to the floor, eyes still open. ISABELLE is absolutely petrified, but looks up with disgust at DEATH EATER 3. His wand is still raised. Her eyes still locked onto him, she slowly sidesteps to the side. DEATH EATER 3 pulls back his wand again, this time in silence and fires another green spell as ISABELLE leaps behind a tree for cover. In absolute shock, she stands and trembles behind the tree for a few seconds. She closes her eyes tightly, opens them and sidles round the side of the tree and silently casts an explosive spell at the floor which triggers the same effect ROBERT had before, sending a dirt cloud into the field, to which we cut to a first person shot of DEATH EATER 3 seeing the dust cloud separate, to which it leaves neither ISABELLE or ROBERTS body. CUT TO: ROAD OUTSIDE FREEDOM FIGHTERS HEADQUARTERS LATE EVENING We see a blank shot of an empty road for a few seconds, after which we see ISABELLE return apperating with ROBERTS body. We see her weep over the corpse of her old friend. CUT TO: BLACK TITLE
