Introduction

Due to the pandemic impact of the Covid 19 pandemic affecting the development
of Vinfast company, my project management plan aims to survey employees in
order to restore business operations and restore workforce. post-pandemic action.
Reports on the scope, financial plan, list of stakeholders and anticipated risks
deemed critical in the work to support the efficient completion of this project will
be incorporated into the plan this project

1.Project life cycle

A project's initiation is the first stage of development, during which the project's
goals or demands are determined. The main tasks and deliverables are determined,
and the project team is formed (Barron et al., 2014)

Planning is the step in which project solutions, detailed specifications, a schedule,

and the actions necessary to carry out the intended project's objectives are
produced (Barron et al., 2014)

Executing defines how the project will be carried out and the work that will be
done. Continuously tracking progress allows for appropriate adjustments to be
made and deviations from the original plan to be documented (Barron et al., 2014)

The last step in the project life cycle is closing. The project releases the final
deliverables to the client and provides the business with the project documents. The
project terminates the supplier contract, releases the project resources, notifies all
parties involved of the project closure, releases the final deliverables to the
customer, and turns over the project documents to the business (Barron et al.,
2014)

2. Project management plan:

A project management plan is a group of documents that spell out the when, how,
and what-ifs of carrying out a project. It provides an overview of the value
proposition for the project, the stages necessary in its execution, available
resources, communication tools and protocols, risks, stakeholders (and their
responsibilities), and the deliverables needed to complete the project. An executive
summary, team and Gantt charts, a risk assessment, and sub plans for resource and
communication management are all included in the documents (Rudder, 2022)
2.1 Aims and objective
An aim is a long-term objective that a person or an organization works to
accomplish. An objective is something that a person or other entity follows
continuously (S et al., 2017)

Project aims Project Objectives

Research and present the post- - View the current situation and
covid-19 workforce recovery circumstances of the business
strategy to the executive team - identify suitability, and research object
- collect accurate statistics

Include strategies to help preparing, opening training programs to

managers inspire and engage staff. enhance corporate assets and offer business
problem-solving strategies

2.2 Scope
The scope is the process of figuring out and specifying the steps necessary to fulfill
a project's needs. A work breakdown structure, often known as a WBS, is used to
organize and manage the parameters or scope of a project. Planning, defining,
developing a WBS, verifying, and controlling are all aspects of managing scope
(Barron et al., 2014)
A work breakdown structure (WBS) is a project management tool that completes
complex projects with many moving parts in a step-by-step manner. A WBS can
combine scope, cost, and deliverables into one tool by segmenting the project into
smaller parts (Organ, 2022)

2.3 Time
Managing time involves definition, scheduling, estimating resources and time,
developing schedules, and managing schedules. Projects have a set start date and a
set termination date. As a result, it is necessary to manage the budgeted time in
accordance with the project timeline (Barron et al., 2014)
Milestones a management tool for marking a point on a project timeline. These
milestones can serve as a project's beginning and end dates as well as the
conclusion of a significant work phase (Westland, 2022)
A Gantt chart is a specific kind of bar chart that displays the beginning and ending
dates of various project components, including resources, planning, and
dependencies (Grant, 2022)

2.4 Cost
Cost is the project's approved budget, which covers all costs involved in
completing the project. Within organizations, project managers must balance not
running out of money with not spending too little (Barron et al., 2014)

2.5 Quality
The quality plan is the set of standards that the delivery project employs to provide
the anticipated functionality, address the issue at hand, and provide the anticipated
rewards and value. The quality plan outlines the procedures and tasks necessary to
guarantee that goods are produced in accordance with the project's and its
standards' needed applicability (Barron et al., 2014)

2.6 Risk
Project risk is an unpredictable event or circumstance that, if it occurs, could
positively or negatively impact the scope, timeline, budget, or quality of a project.
The prospective event should be recognized as a risk and a proactive plan should
be put in place to handle it if the probability and project impact are too high

3. Research methodology
Research methodology explains and provides examples of the data collecting and
analysis techniques you employed in your study. It clarifies what was done and
how, helping the reader to judge the validity and importance of the study and thesis
topic. It is an essential component of a thesis, dissertation, or research paper
(McCombes, 2022)
3.1 literature review
The literature review is a detailed summary of earlier study on a subject. The
literature review examines scholarly books, journals, and other sources that are
pertinent to a particular field of study. This prior research should be listed,
described, summed up, impartially evaluated, and clarified in the review
( Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, 2022)
Linda and Kimberly (2020) conducted research on how HRD may step up and
solve the pressing problems that the post-pandemic workforce and workplaces are
facing as they attempt to recover and resume a productive future. Office interiors
are being redesigned to encourage social isolation. COVID-19 confirmed that some
jobs may be performed from home and that online meetings can be held more
inexpensively and securely than flying to other cities or countries, despite years of
study proposing flextime and working from home options (Friedman 2020).
Knowing that, it is likely that telecommuting for all or a portion of the workweek
will continue for reasons of safety, convenience, and cost savings As companies
look for ways to keep running productively even in the event of the next pandemic,
automation will surely become increasingly common. An increased emphasis on
automation will have both short- and long-term impacts on the future of
employment and the financial stability of employees (Linda M. Hite and Kimberly
S. McDonald, 2020)
Shem Wambugu Maingi and Hildah Mumbi Wachira (2022) concluded that
Kenyan small and medium-sized tourism enterprises (SMTEs) have suffered
significant effects from the COVID-19 epidemic. Particular lockdowns and travel
restrictions had to be endured by the tourism workforce. The tourist workforce has
to make use of internet technologies and digitalization as a way to enable business
continuity and provide value addition in their supply chains in order to sustain
commercial and operational continuity. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic
affecting SMTEs in Nairobi City County, the goal of this study was to determine
how much digital skills might boost employee wellbeing and aid in the tourism
industry's recovery ( Maingi, S.W. and Wachira, H.M. 2022)
3.2 Research method
Research methods are the methods, procedures, or tactics used to gather
information or evidence for analysis in order to learn more about something or
come to a better knowledge of it . There are 3 types of research methods which use
different tools for data collection: qualitative method, quantitative method, mixed
method (The University of Newcastle, Australia, 2022)
- Qualitative method collects information on people's actual experiences, feelings,
and actions, as well as the meanings they give to these things. It helps make it
possible for academics to comprehend intricate ideas, social interactions, or
cultural events better. This kind of inquiry is helpful in analyzing events,
describing activities, and investigating how or why things have happened (The
University of Newcastle, Australia, 2022)
- Quantitative method collects numerical data that may be measured, ranked, or
otherwise classified using statistical analysis. Making generalizations and
identifying patterns or relationships are made easier with its help. Finding out how
many, how much, how frequently, or to what extent is helpful when conducting
this kind of research.
- Mixed methods research is the both of quantitative method and qualitative
method (The University of Newcastle, Australia, 2022)
I chose the mix method, using quantitative methods to analyze research questions
about employee opinions that are expressed in terms of quantity and frequency. In
addition, it is easy to absorb the results in the form of data, graphs, charts and
statistics lists. Use qualitative methods to gain insight into employee expectations
and suggestions from the survey. Their thoughts and feelings can be freely
revealed without strings attached. So, respondents were given the opportunity to
freely present their responses in detail.
Reason i choose the mix method is because it can provide stronger and more
reliable evidence and can provide more detailed results than the individual
methods.
3.3 Research strategies
A research strategy is a step-by-step plan of action that directs your thoughts and
efforts, allowing you to do research methodically and on time in order to provide
high-quality results and thorough reporting (Jenny Dinnen, 2014).
There are four main types of research strategy: experiment, survey, case study,
interviews and action research ( Dominika Magusiak, 2019)
Surveys are employed to gather information that will direct research teams (from
choosing samples to questions and topics). It is an effective technique that aids in
gathering a lot of data from numerous sources. A variety of characteristics,
including sex, age, race, sexual orientation, social class, and demographic
questions, can be used to select respondents. Usually, these inquiries come first in
the survey ( Dominika Magusiak, 2019)
I choose the survey method to research the employees' wishes, opinions and
suggestions in developing the company. survey method because it can collect data
from a large number of people at low cost.
The survey method can be used to find out the department they work for, the
incentives the company has given to employees during the covid 19 pandemic, and
the wishes and opinions of the employees towards their company. Understanding
employees is always an important factor for the success of any company. I use the
GoogFormsorm platform to create questionnaires and then distribute them across
platforms like Facebook, corporate groups quickly and efficiently. Alternatively,
use a paper survey. If businesses design a good survey, they will get detailed
information related to the suggestions and wishes of employees, and understand
employees better. As a result, the company will have a better direction to improve
and develop.
3.4. Data collection:
Data collection is the process of gathering, measuring, collecting, and analyzing
precise data from a range of pertinent sources in order to address issues in research,
provide answers to queries, assess results, and predict future trends and probability
(Simplilearn, 2022)
There are 2 types of data collection: primary and secondary data
- Primary data is a form of data that is gathered by researchers directly from
primary sources using methods including tests, questionnaires, and interviews The
greatest type of data for study is primary data, which is typically gathered from the
source—where the data initially originates from (Blog, 2020)
- Secondary data the information that has already been gathered from primary
sources and made available for use in other researchers' studies. It is a category of
information that has previously been gathered (Blog, 2020)
I choose 2 types of data collection: primary and secondary.  Because it is the
original data gathered by data researchers.
I utilize primary data for primary data collecting. A planning questionnaire and
an employee survey had to be written first. I use Google Forms' functionality to
generate questions and answers for staff based on document study. In order to
connect with as many Vinfast employees as I can, I will need the help of my
coworkers and manager. I made the decision to stop getting information after I
reached 362 responses. With Google Forms, I find it easier to save the information
I ask for as well as to confirm and gather data for my presentation. If the researcher
gathers the data, the outcomes when using primary data are very accurate. Using
primary data, I can gather first-hand information about issues surrounding my
project through surveys and interviews. It provides accurate information and can
have full control over the data collected through the survey.
Using secondary data, I was able to collect past data from public posts by
researchers on employee opinion and satisfaction with the company during the
covid 19 pandemic. In order to examine the information, I actually just searched the
data on the internet. Following the assignment of a project topic and research topic,
I have identified several things to check, including definition, strategy,
effectiveness of other activities, values, and the benefits of strategic planning, with
an emphasis on the evaluation of effectiveness and the aforementioned objectives.
I start by collecting data from earlier research publications on academic websites
like Google Scholar and writing letters based on the aforementioned keywords.
When I prepared a literary review, I also made notes on each source to prevent
losing them later. It costs little or nothing to get them, as they are sometimes given
away for free. It helps generate new insights into existing critical data.
3.4.2 Sample approach
Sampling includes picking a representative sample of the population being studied.
To ensure that the sample is as representative of the population as
possible.Sampling approach includes: Probability sampling and Non-probability
sampling ([McLeod, 2019)
Since the non-probability sampling strategy is frequently employed. I decided to
use it in my research. Non-probability sampling using a non-random selection
process as the method. Contrary to probability sampling, which assigns each
person of the population a known, non-zero chance of being chosen to take part in
the study, this is not the case.  Every person of the target population has an equal
chance of being chosen as a research volunteer, unlike probability sampling(John
Dudovskiy , 2012). I use this method for my survey by dividing participants with
similar characteristics to conduct the research. This approach makes it simple for
me to connect with people who have research needs. The fundamental advantage
of getting a response using non-probability sampling is that it is quicker and less
expensive than using probabilistic sampling. Also, non-probability sampling can
produce or interpret data in the form of numbers if properly done.

Sampling techniques include: convenience, quota, consecutive, snowball, and
purpose. I use quota sampling to be applied by dividing employees into specific
groups. Quota sampling is a type of non-probability sampling where researchers
will form a sample of individuals who are representative of a larger population.
Vinfast’'s employees will be divided into each department they work: sales,
marketing, human resources, accounting, engineering

3.4.3 Sample size
Sample size is a phrase that describes the number of participants in a sample size in
market research. A set of people chosen from the general community who are
thought to be a representative sample size for that particular study is referred to as
the sample size (omniconvert, 2022)
Currently our company has 6,000 employees across the country.. I have chosen
quota sampling and distributed the sample size to the employees of the
organization in the sampling plan below. The specified population size is 6,000
people. With a margin of error of 5% and a confidence level of 95% therefore, I
determined that I would need to collect the full 362 surveys to meet the need of
sample size. I got this information from the table sample sizes for different sizes of
target population at a 95 percent confidence level.
4. Questionnaire
Questionnaire is a list of inquiries or items used to learn more about the attitudes,
encounters, or opinions of responders. Questionnaires can gather quantitative
and/or qualitative data with questionnaires (Bhandari, 2022)
This questionnaire was created with the purpose of his research to study the
opinions and satisfaction levels of employees with the company during the covid
19. Please reply to be honest because your opinion has a lot to do with the
completion of this study.Thank you for your cooperation.

Conclusion
The purpose of this project management plan is to enable the project manager to
monitor the future development of the project as well as the effectiveness of the
research. Project life cycle, Project management plan and Research methodology
are integral parts of this project, they all affect the future success of the project as
well as the future development and recovery workforce of Vinfast.
