Introduction

My own strategic development plan is presented in this document. The assignment's concept was
interesting as I started to figure out my area of improvement and development. The project encouraged
me to think about my beliefs and goals, what I have accomplished in my life, who I want to be, and
where I want my life to go in addition to helping me to define my goals. I found it helpful to see
achievement in my own terms. It was also a wonderful chance for me to apply the skills I had learned
in business strategy studies to my everyday life.

1.0 Student Education and Work Background

Since my first year in university, I had the passion to work and study in parallel; and by this time, I
asked myself one question “why not to take my chance and apply for a full-time job?’’

So, I could interact and deal directly with different people with different cultures and backgrounds, with
the objective of further enhancing my verbal and non-verbal communication skills. I have 7+ years of
professional experience in diverse industries (Media, Fashion, Telecommunication, F&B).

I’m currently working as Marketing Manager at Subway and I’m a Digital Marketing instructor at
American Chambre. Academically, I have worked on enhancing my theoretical knowledge so I studied
Marketing and Sales at the School of Continuing Education at the American University in Cairo, I also
attended workshops and sessions in principles of marketing, how to deal with customer behavior and
selling skills through studying my MBA program at ESLSCA University.

I also, had the amazing chance of dealing closely with start-up, with youth full of power, hope and
enthusiasm. I noticed that the youth business owners run the start-up really successfully which make
me question what the reason behind that is! What the secret would be! The answer was centered on
the various volunteering, entrepreneurship, youth development and exchange programs and
opportunities that have passed by which provided them with the needed insights of team work,
communication, self-development and mainly community development of which they could start their
own business that shall help a lot of people here in Egypt. I believe that my background and the
challenges also with my passion for marketing, social media, sales and analytical thinking allowed me
to excel in the places I’ve worked in, and my openness to other cultures and ways of thinking helped
me gain a valuable interpersonal skill set. I’ve been through so far in my life helped me acquire
valuable skills which are not only relevant but also very beneficial to your organization. Being an
Egyptian and experiencing the Arab spring first hand, working in fulltime job, studying for my marketing
diploma while also maintaining high grades in my university back then had taught me to be extremely
careful with my time management, the necessary communication skills to be a team player and quite
often a team leader. I have been working almost all my life, and I know the importance of a
volunteering programs and how it affects all other aspects of life not just my career.

Regarding the fun / enthusiastic part, I have my own personal blog on Instagram as a digital content
creator with +80K members in my community. I started this channel to spread my experience in the
digital world by sharing digital trips and tricks

Traits

I tend to show a positive sense of humor, and can sometimes relieve a tense moment with a subtle
comment or verbal quip. This trait gives me enormous influence, especially in the creative realm.

These traits will help me to be aware of myself, improving my character and achieve my
goals.

entrepreneurs to influence young generations.

By the end of my five-year plan, I hope to have acquired all the necessary expertise and
knowledge and to have launched my business. I will complete my MBA during this time and
then broaden my platform to increase sales. These five years will be viewed as a time for
personal growth. To be able to handle my business, I'll work on developing my personality
and character.

In long term objective, in addition to partnering with entrepreneurs and small business
owners to ensure their commitment to the business as well as to ensure that the major
corporations to expand the platform, I intend to secure the financial viability of the business
by having more than one partner, and each partner will also offer value to the business.

By the end of my five-year plan, I will obtain my MBA, be financially secure, and engaged in a number
of potential projects. Hence, I will have the balance between my lifestyle and career path.

Strategies
Kind of Strategies that can be adopted throughout the plan:

It is time to develop my alternative strategies so that I will know where I am and where I am going to be
after developing my vision and mission, identifying my internal strengths and weaknesses as well as the
external opportunities and threats that may affect my work and business, and establishing my five-year
objective. These tactics will aid me in achieving my objective. The long-term objective is what the plan
seeks to accomplish.

Below are many strategies that could be adopted:

Differentiation Strategy creating a unique service to help specefic customers

Integrative Strategy is utilized to boost income, assets, and sales. We make use of the
strengths and opportunities inside this plan. Integration at the same level or stage of company
in the same industry (horizontal integration) or integration at different levels or stages of
business in the same industry are both part of the integrative growth strategy (vertical
integration with backward and forward linkages).

Intensive Strategy seeks to achieve additional growth of current markets/services (digital


strategies). I will strengthen and perfect this strategy's flaws in order to take advantage of
opportunities.
Operating guidelines to be followed during the Strategy implementation

Strategy Evaluation Phase

I will evaluate my KPIs on a regular basis (as performance indicators) to monitor and assess my objectives' in the
action plan. As my strategy is cohesive and connected to one another via the Critical Path, I think it is simple to
keep an eye on. Indicators of success should also be tracked in order to ensure that the strategy is implemented
successfully.

I will track each KPI by plan measurements to get the right time frame and identifying the resources. As the entire
purpose of monitoring the Action Plan is to make any essential adjustments whenever needed on time, it is
imperative to take the proper action in a timely manner.

The action plan mentioned above is based on my goals for the following years. I divided the strategy on short/long
term paln. The description of the target, its current status, necessary conditions, success indicator, and time frame
are all included in the action plan.
