1. Computer is a tool that processes data according to a set procedure. Computers are hardware
devices that are closely related to technology. Computers can support a wide range of human
tasks.
2. The computer was first invented by British mathematician Charles Babbage in 1822. Originally,
Babbage intended to develop a steam-powered calculator that could calculate tables of
numbers. This machine was later called "Difference Engine 0" and was predicted to be the world's
first computer.
3. Kinds of computer is:
a. Personal Computer (PC)
A personal computer or PC is a computer that can be used by only one person.You can use
PC for office work, games, and other activity.
b. Server
A computer optimized to provide services to other computers over a network. The server
has strong performance and large. Data storage on a server is better because any computer can
be connected to a network.
c. Netbook
Netbook are smaller than laptops. Functionally, netbooks and laptops are used for the same
thing, the only difference is the screen size.
d. Tablet PC
This one of his PC uses a monitor with touchscreen technology. Tablets are designed for
simple office activities such as searching,writing and other activities. The size of this tablet is
wider than 7 inches.
4. computer’s have four components:
a. Hardware
The main function of computer hardware is to support the main functions of the computer.
Input, processing, output, secondary storage, communication, etc.
b. Central Processing Unit
CPU is the computer's control center. A CPU is a very complex and extensive set of
electronic circuits that execute stored program instructions. A CPU supports data processing
by performing the functions of fetching, encoding, and executing programmed instructions.
c. Output Device
Output devices are responsible for displaying data processed by the processor. Previously,
data was obtained from input devices.
d. backing storage
Backup storage, or secondary storage, can be any type of large program or file, i.e., any type
of program or file that is not currently in use or manipulated, but that is later transferred to
primary storage when needed. A storage medium intended to store programs and files. by

5. In the first part the hardware acts as an input receiver. This input function becomes an information
processing process that can later take the form of data or information. Once you have a process
that receives data and information, the next stage is processing. Hardware example is
motherboard,CPU,RAM.
Software becomes software in the form of a program or application that can commands according
to certain functions. Software example is microsoft office,Canva,Adobe Photoshop.
6. Parts of computer and the function is:
a. Keyboard
A keyboard is a hardware device on your computer that serves as a tool for entering data in
the form of letters, numbers, and symbols.
b. Power Supply
A power supply unit (PSU) is a component that converts AC power into low-voltage DC
power so that it can be used to power all computer components.
c. Motherboard
The function of the motherboard is to connect all major computer components such as CPU,
RAM, CD/DVD-ROM, HDD/SSD and various connectors and expansion slots.
7. An operating system is software that coordinates the operation of a computer as a whole, and an
application is software written to perform a specific task and run on top of the operating system.
-Examples operating system is Linux,Unix,MacOS X
-Examples application software is mozilla freefox,paint software,microsoft store.
8. The application that i use every day is Instagram,WhatsAppp,Twitter
9. RAM is a type of memory that can store data to be accessed randomly regardless of where it is
stored. ROM is a component that can store and read persistent data. ROM can store data longer
because data is not lost when the ROM is powered off.
10. The disadvantages of technology what i feel is:
a. Addicted using social media without limiting time
b. There is scam and piracy
c. Crime on the internet
d. The spread of computer viruses
