Online Test Instructions


1. Candidates must set up their system and be prepared 15 Minutes before the commencement of the test

2. For infrastructure, you will require a computer, webcam (either inbuilt or attached)Stable WIFI Internet
Connection.. The test cannot be hosted on any hand held device.

3. Your computer must have the latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

4. Candidate must have their Admit Card along with one Photo ID Proof available as part of the verification
process of the Online Test.

5. The Entrance Test will be proctored.

6. Kindly be punctual as this is a timed test. Extra time will not be give

7. For design candidate -you must come prepared with paper for drawing, HB pencils, eraser, sharpener,
compass, scale, crayons, pencil colours etc.

8. Studio Simulation has been withdrawn from the IDAT due to the COVID - 19 Pandemic. The written design
test will contribute 100% to the assessment.

9. Candidates who have to appear for the Personal Interview as part of the test schedule, will have a Online
interview. The date and time will be informed after the online test.

10. Your candidature for this test is provisional and subject to fulfilling the educational qualification and other
conditions as specified in the website/ brochure/advertisement-subject to detailed scrutiny at a later stage.

1. Candidates are allowed to enter the Examination Center/ Examination Room 15 Minutes before the
commencement of the test.

2. Kindly be punctual. Late entrants will not be given extra time

3. Your candidature for this test is provisional and subject to fulfilling the educational qualification and other
conditions as specified in the website/ brochure/advertisement-subject to detailed scrutiny at a later stage.

4. Mobile phones are Not Allowed in the test center.

5. For the design section of the paper you must bring with you two HB pencils, eraser, sharpener, scissors,
cutter(big blade), compass, scale, crayons, pencil colors, fevicol and glue stick etc. for appearing in
the iDAT.

6. Travelling and other expenses for taking the written test will be borne by the candidate himself/ herself.

7. No request for change of test center will be entertained.

8. Candidate must carry their ADMIT CARD and a government approved Photo ID proof for the examination.
