INTRODUCTION:
What is the food donation concept?
It facilitates the donation of food waste from farms, restaurants and grocery stores to charities
that can use it. This tax deduction for the charitable donation of food has existed since 1976.

What is the aim of food donation?


Donating food to the worthy people or organizations helps counter poverty, hunger and at the
same time, it can improve harmony, friendliness, and trust among residents.

Why is donating food important?


Feed people to feed the economy

As a result, food donation ensures that a lack of reliable meals is never a barrier to education,
health, and economic status. Donating food not only fuels economic progress at the macro
level, but it also helps you save disposal costs and entitles tax deductions with proper
receipts.

What are the benefits of giving food to the poor?


Donating wholesome food for human consumption diverts food waste from landfills and puts
food on the table for families in need. Donations of nonperishable and unspoiled perishable
food from homes and businesses help stock the shelves at food banks, soup kitchens, pantries,
and shelters.

Why should we help the poor?

All you need to have is the compassionate heart and a loving mind. It is time to understand
the essence of life by finding the ways to help people because you can only find spiritual
satisfaction by h going the people. Poor people might have been born poor but they have all
the right to live a rich and beautiful life.

Why helping the poor is important?


Volunteering your time, money, or energy to help others doesn't just make the world better—
it also makes you better. Studies indicate that the very act of giving back to the
community boosts your happiness, health, and sense of well-being.
ACTIVITY: DONATING THE FOOD TO THE OLD WOMEN
We choose the activity of donating the food to an old women. We our team searched
for an old women who is needy. We asked how can we help her. She told that she was very
hungry . So we decided to arrange any food for her.
We bought some food and water bottle from shop and gave to her. She felt happy after
receiving the food.

We felt very happy and satisfied after doing this activity. We also had a thought of
making hobby of such good things like helping people , doing social activities, etc.
