Manager, you will be leading digital transformation and deliver SAP TM and transportation
management solutions, digital core for our Inland Platform.
Maersk is on multi-year program to revamp its technology and digital solutions footprint and as
part of new strategy, SAP will act as the ‘digital core’ for company’s Transportation and TM
processes.
While we are relying on various Delivery partners in our transformation, we are investing into
building our internal SAP capabilities. As Engineering Manager for SAP TM, you will be
responsible for building our internal SAP TM capabilities and leading teams of SAP engineers to
delivery end-to-end technical solutions focusing on quality and scalability. You will be working
closely with business as well as technology leaders supporting strategic direction for SAP TM
area and leading complex design decisions.
Our Engineering Manager’s priority will be to continue building internal capability and enable
implementation and roll of our solution template to different countries.

Key Responsibilities:
· Build a high-performance team and scale our SAP TM Engineering capability
· Manage the SAP TM engineering capabilities with SAP functional and technical engineers
· Responsible for solution design, build, testing, configuration and solution delivery for SAP TM
products across Maersk business units with focus on SAP TM and Supplier Portal Integration
· Ensure quality and reliability of the technical solution build by the team
· Work in an agile environment with SAP TM Product owners, Architects, SAP
developers/engineers and Scrum master in executing on prioritized backlog
· Ensuring on-time delivery of solution by removing bottlenecks using expertise skills
· Accountable for Application Management support (AMS) for the delivered SAP TM solutions by
managing AMS Delivery Partner
· Understand organizational goals, competitive landscape and technology trends to provide
recommendations and decisions directly aligned to the organization's strategy and financial
goals
· Maintain leadership in the development of delivery standards and architectural governance
· Be a change agent that helps bring in large scale deployment exercises in a repetitive and
consistent fashion
· Ensure that SAP technology and delivery capability remain current with the business goals, and
direct the development of delivery capability towards long-term business and technology goals
· Acts as escalation point for issue resolution and provides direction and steady leadership in the
face of uncertainty to ensure no bottlenecks impacting delivery of solution
· OKR dashboard to provide transparency, track and monitor delivery outcomes and capability of
team
· Control & manage finance, budget and utilization for offshore delivery team

You have:
· Global SAP Transportation management and TM Implementation and Rollout program
management experience
· Experience in leading, building and scaling inhouse SAP engineering capability with one of the
large global companies in SAP Logistics, Forwarding and Transportation management areas
· Prior background in SAP TM domain & 7 year of SAP TM experience in roles of Functional
Consultant, Delivery or Program lead, Architect, Team lead
· Proven track record of working with senior business stakeholders and delivering on business
outcomes through SAP technology
· Experience in implementing SAP TM module with Integration to SAP TM preconfigured scenario
with complex rule-based events updates and workflows
· Experience with integration to PI/PO and other middle ware to integrate events with non SAP
systems
· Experience in working with SAP Activate, Agile and waterfall delivery models
· Demonstrated track record of working with teams spread across multiple geographies.
· Exhibits great adaptability and effectively leads teams in ambiguous situations
