1. There are twelve birds on the fence. Eight more


birds land on the fence. How many birds are on
the fence?

2. Twenty-two boys went down the slide in the


morning. In the afternoon, 13 more boys and 16
girls went down the slide. How many kids went
down the slide today?

3. Thirteen ducks are swimming in a lake. Twenty


more ducks and 5 crows come to join them. How
many ducks are swimming in the lake?

4. Thirty dogs are barking. Ten more dogs start to


bark. Then 100 more dogs start barking.
How many dogs are barking?

5. Bobby ate 26 pieces of candy. Then he ate the
same amount again. How many pieces of candy
did Bobby eat?

6. Sandy had 126 pet fish. She bought 6 more fish.

other two clowns blew up thirteen more balloons
each. How many balloons do the clowns have

5. 26 + 26 = 52

6. 126 + 6 = 132
