Thank you for your purchase!

My hope is that the pages in this product are something

that your students can work on independently and it
gives them practical practice with words with glued
sounds, sentences and Trick Words.
I hope they have fun with the Make It Fun activities, too.

If there is an activity that you liked from a different

Fundations packet that is not included in this one, please
contact me by leaving a question on the product page
and I can create it and include it with this packet.

Thanks and enjoy!

Hmm…why are
there blank pages
in this
document?

I like to run off the pages and

staple them together to make a
mini workbook. Since I want the
pages to be back to back, I placed
a blank page after any that are cut
and paste. (I first copy the cover
seperately). These blank pages are
not counted in my product total. I
hope this is helpful to you!

Unit 7 © Humble Bee-ginnings
Oh Bonk! is a fun way to practice reading words.

To prepare the game, print and cut out the cards. I like to print them on card
stock and laminate for durability. The page that says “Oh Bonk!”, is to be
printed on the back.

Directions:
Place all the words in a container or deck.
One at a time the children will take a card and read the word.
If the student is successful, he/she keeps the card.
If the word is not read, it goes back in the deck. (Optional) If a student cannot
read the card, it can be stolen. The first student that reads it gets it.
I usually play this version later in the year.

Some cards with have specific directions. If one of these are selected, follow
the directions on the card.
If they draw the “Oh Bonk” card, they will put 3 cards back.

I keep this this game on my reading table. As the students wait to begin guided
reading, they play this game. I hope your students enjoy it as much as mine do!

I include a version of this game in most of my Fundations Resource Packs. My

students love to play and are excited to see the new title of the game.
This is a duplicate version
of the Word Hunt Game.
In this version, the words are slightly bigger.

I provided this in case your printer

does not print the tiny words clearly,
or if you want to have your students search
for words without the use
of magnifying glasses.
