Preface
This workbook reflected all the content of upper basic science curriculum. It is meant to
offer a very good helpful assistance to basic science education teachers in their continuous
assessment tests. The exercise were carefully selected to test the students understanding of
the various content topics taught. The content topics were carefully selected to cover the
scheme of work for basic science for upper basic education 3. This makes the workbook
very good working companion to any recommended text . It is hoped that at the end of the
exercises in this workbook, upper basic education 3 students would have a clearer
understanding of what basic science is all about. This in no doubt will help to equip them
more effectively to face the following examinations in science; Upper Basic Science
Education 3 Examination, and entrance examination into State and Federal Special
Science Schools. Again it will equip them more effectively to face the content of all the
Senior Secondary School science subjects.
