line with a slope of – 4250 K is obtained. Calculate ‘Ea’ for the reaction. (R = 8.314 J/Kmol).

7.(i) Decomposition reaction the value of rate constant K at two different temp are given below;
k1=2.15 x 10-8 L mol-1 S -1 at 650K ; k2=2.39 x 10-7 L Mol-1 S -1 at 700K. Calculate the value of
activation energy for this reaction (R=8.314 JK1Mole-1 )

(ii)Distinguish between rate constant and rate expression of a reaction.
