II PROBLEM PRESENTED
The client has a problem on sustaining his college education as well as providing the
needs of his family.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

JB, the client, is the oldest child and was born in Madapdap Resettlement,
Mabalacat city, Pampanga and grew in 514 Daang Bakal St., San Joaquin, Mabalacat,
Pampanga. He graduated from senior high school and currently working as a
maintenance worker at Yokohama. He also has a sideline which is glass painting.
However, he seldom earn money from selling them. His parents got separated when he
was still a child. His parents have their own families. However, his mother gives him an
allowance of 500/week. He currently resides with his uncle and grandmother.
His uncle also works at Yokohama and earns 460/day while his grandmother is a
housewife.

Mark Jepherson, his younger brother, is a 3rd yr college student.

IV. ASSESSMENT & RECOMMENDATION

This is a case of 22-year-old man who struggles to sustain his expenses such as
miscellaneous fees, school supplies, uniform, and food for his college education and the
expenses at his home such as food, water and electric bill.

The client belongs to one of the low-income families in the community and has
limited source of income. He mostly depends on the allowance given by his mother
amounting to 500/week and his income of 460/day and income from his uncle which is
also 460/day. brother’s income and his uncle's income of 460/per day for daily
subsistence and to support his college education. Hence, financial resources are
inadequate.

Based on the assessment and facts stated-above, the undersigned recommends


Mr. JHON BRIAN L. INGCO be given assistance to lessen the financial burden of the
family.
