TRAINERS METHODOLOGY LEVEL 1


INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the Trainers Methodology Moodle Training! This course is intended
for the upcoming trainers of TVET sector.
This course will provide you with adequate skills and knowledge in facilitating
training and conducting assessment. This will measure also your capabilities in
Competency Based-Curriculum in accordance to Training Regulation. Further, it adheres
to the Republic Act No. 7796 Section 22, “Establishment and Administration of the
National. The Authority shall develop and implement a certification and accreditation
program in which private industry group and trade associations are accredited to conduct
approved trade tests, and the local government units to promote such trade testing
activities in their respective areas in accordance with the guidelines to be set.
OBJECTIVES
The TRAINERS METHODOLOGY LEVEL is a 33-day online training, consists of
competencies a TVET trainer performing functions of trainer and assessor must
achieve. A TVET trainer is a person who enables a learner or a group of learners to
develop competencies to performing a particular trade or technical work.

At the end of this course, you should be able to prepare and perform the following
purposes:
1. Identify the guiding principles of Trainers methodology;
2. Explain the responsibility of the trainer in the TVET Sector.
3. Prepare learning materials needed in performing competency-based training.
4. Demonstrate the proper method in conducting CBT.
5. Establish competencies to perform a particular trade or technical work.

ACTIVITIES
Online Activities
1. Orientation Program
a. Attend the Trainees Induction Program at 9:00 am. The link will be sent in your
email account or in the group chat has made before the online training.
b. Access the course site for the Moodle Training for Regional / Institutional
Administrator through: https://lms.nephilaweb.com.ph/course/view.php?id=1256.
The enrolment key will be sent to the participants via email
c. Read the Study Guide.
d. Open the Pre- test of Trainers Methodology and take the test online.
2. Access the Competency you will first take. This will notify you through your email
account.
3. Expect a webinar discussion on how the task in every competency will be
performed for you to be guided.
4. Read the books / information, answer the quizzes, prepare and submit the
output.
5. Expect a grade in every output submitted whether document or video. Please
be guided with the grades listed below:
75 to 80 need to repeat the task
81 to 85 average quality of the output
86 to 88 accurate quality of the output
90 above Very satisfactory
6. Finish all the requirements in every task to be able to access the CERTIFICATE
of ACHIEVEMENT and access the next competency.
7. Prepare your portfolio in TM1.. You will be guided through the link that will be
sent to your email or GC.
8. Prepare yourself for Institutional Assessment via google meet.
9. Take the Post-test once you have finished the 6 Core competencies of TM1.
10. Access and answer the Trainers Evaluation form. The link will be sent to your
email.
