Good day, Grade 8- Einstein Students.
I am very glad that
you have chosen Paradigm Colleges of Science and
Technology, Inc to be your second home. As we face current
challenges in today’s pandemic where you can’t go to school,
attend face to face discussion, meet your teachers
personally, and enjoy the environment and atmosphere of
our very own institution. However, we teachers are still
doing our mission and accountability to meet the standard
and quality education that you wish to acquire today.
I am Ms. Nikki May Roco, a graduate of Bachelor of
Secondary Education major in Mathematics at Eastern
Mindoro college and I am also a professional teacher. I am
very glad to be your adviser and Mathematics Teacher for
this school year 2021-2022
At this point of time, it is going to be a very short
orientation. I myself will be explaining to you how the
distribution and retrieval of modules can be conducted and
facilitated. The system of computing grades will also be
tackled. Lastly, the proper use of the various platforms
where learning occurs such as Messenger, Facebook, and
google classroom will also be discussed.
During the distribution and retrieval of modules, only the
parents can go to school to get and submit self-learning
modules. Upon signing the attendance sheet, however, they
need to sanitized their hands first before and after they claim
the modules because it is part of our health protocols.
The modules are consisted of 4 chapters to be answered
within 4 weeks or equivalent to 1 month. It means that you
have plenty of time to answer each chapter in a week. For
each lesson, supported learning videos will also be sent to
our group chat or google classroom. However, if you are not
able to view it, feel free to ask me if you have queries and
concerns regarding the particular topic and I will be very glad
to explain everything to make it clearer.
Now I will discuss the guidance on how to compute your
grades, each subject is divided into two main components,
namely: Written works and Performance Task. Your major
examinations will be included in your written works.
For learning to happen, we basically use messenger and
google classroom. In order to reach you out, you just have to
be active in the group chat. So that you will get informed if
there is an announcements or updates. Everyone must use
the said platforms properly. Do not send unnecessary or
underrated photos or videos to the group chat. You have to
be friendly with one another and feel free to express your
positive thoughts and notion so that your classmates would
feel comfortable.
You can also add your parents or guardians to our group chat
so that they will also be updated on your learning tasks and
activities.
