Note:
The solar panel wattage may differ according to the availablity of stock
Please note that an additional payment will be added to the discounted price if the system
is re-financed under the ADB loan scheme.
Kindly inform the company on the preferred metering scheme you wish to go with.
( Net metering/ Net Accounting / Net Plus)
Net Meteting : Excess solar generation will be carried forward to the next month bill
Net Accounting : A payment will be made by CEB /LECO for the excess generation from solar.
Net Plus : The total generation will be exported to the grid and a payment will be made by CEB
for the total solar generation exported ( Recommended for commercial tariff bills )
TERMS OF SALE
INSTALLATION
Installation is assumed to be flat against roof (Aluminum railing used for fixing of solar
modules flat against roof). Special Solar Mounting structures are not included in this quotation
(Example: if solar panels are to be mounted on a special structure on a slab).
Net metering charges are included in the quotation. Please note that all co-ordination and
documentation with LECO/CEB will be done by us. The installation of the net meter is a
property of CEB/LECO which is beyond our control. ( Installation of the net meter will take 3
to 4weeks from the date of installation completed)
SUPPLY
Within 2 to 3 weeks on confirmation.
Solar system will start operating from the date of net meter installation.
Online Monitoring facility is inbuilt in the inverter itself. Sufficient internet connection needs
to be provided by the client. The online monitoring system is an added feature to the system
which has no effect to the system performance. This carries a warranty of one year from the
date of installation.
PAYMENT
LC will be opened by the customer for Inverter and Solar Panel purchasing (Foreign
Component).
80% Advance payment of on confirmation (Local Components and Installation Charges).
20% payment on completion of the installation with CEB grid connection.
Warranty Certificate will issued on completion of the total payment.
PRICE
Total cost of design, supply and installation of grid solar PV system including necessary accessories
and connection to loads at AC distribution. VAT is not applicable for solar PV products under the
present tax scheme
WARRANTY
Solar panels- 25 years performance warranty for 80% performance years
Solar Panels- 12 years product warranty
Inverter- 7 years warranty
INITIAL CLERANCE APPROVAL PRIOR TO THE INSTALLATION
Please note that;
Initial clearance is required prior to the installation only for consumers who belong to the
Ceylon Electricity Board. All documentation for approval will be done by us on behalf of the
client.

Signed Net Meter/Net Accounting /Net Plus application by the consumer (Will be provided by
the company)
Initial clearance is required from both CEB and LECO if the system is re-financed under the
ADB loan scheme.

The time period required for the initial clearance depends on the CEB/LECO. “Solar Therm” will do all
the coordination with CEB/LECO until the approval is obtained and will update the client.
