 Computer ~
The computer is a powerful tool that can be
used in the classroom. Unlike passive forms of
technology, such as television or videos,
computers require interaction with students
who are able to control their pace and repeat
activities again if they desire so – all while
developing skills for problem solving on an
individual level through creativity-driven
learning experiences that develop curiosity
about things.
The benefits of computer education are
many, and it’s easy to see why some people
would say that those who don’t learn how can
never catch up. It has been shown time and
again as well: kids in schools with more
computers perform better on tests than their
counterparts! Not only does this provide them
with knowledge they need for future careers
or even just everyday life; but also enhances
creativity & thinking skills which is always
welcome news these days when we’re all
struggling under too much pressure at once
outside our jobs.

Internet then only you will be able to access all the
applications, websites, social media apps, and many
more services. The Internet nowadays is considered the
fastest medium for sending and receiving information..
• Internet, the most useful technology of modern times
which helps us not only in our daily lives but also in
professional lives. For educational purposes, it is widely
used to gather information and to do research or add to
the knowledge of various subjects.
• Internet plays a very vital role in education. It is no doubt
that in this modern era everyone prefers Google for their
queries, problems or doubts. Popular search engines like
Google, Yahoo, etc.
• Are the topmost choice of people as they offer an easy
and instant reach to the vast amount of information in just
a few seconds. It contains a wealth of knowledge that
can be searched at any time. The internet has introduced
improvements in technology, communication, and online
entertainment.

E-mail -

• Email stands for Electronic Mail. It is a

method to send messages from one
computer to another computer through
the Internet. It is mostly used in business,
education, technical communication,
and document interactions. It allows
communicating with people all over the
world without bothering them. In 1971, a
test email was sent Ray Tomlinson to
himself containing text.
• It is the information sent electronically
between two or more people over a
network. It involves a sender and
receiver/s.
• An email is a communication that
happens in real time and can get
important data across to people in various
geographies. An email is a record of the
communications that have happened
and is stored on the server of the
organization. One has to be very cautious
while typing out a mail.

 Multimedia :
• Multimedia is an advanced technology that
facilitates integration of text, data, image, graphics,
audio, video animation in digital form. It provides
new ways to enhance the delivery of information
and its impact on the user. Multimedia is information
displayed in picture/sound form and it does not
include plain text exclusively. Thus it includes
pictures, audio and video which are captured and
digitized by input devices to get the information
ready for manipulation by the computer.
• In other word we can say that Multimedia is a
combination of text, graphics, audio and video. It is
a new trend in one computer science because it
combines different media in one computer
application, it is called multimedia. This enables the
computer to be used as an entertainment and
educational tool besides just a business tool.
 Software:
Software uses in education:

• Software is a collection of instructions, data, or

computer programs that are used to run machines
and carry out particular activ ities. It is the antithesis of
hardware, which refers to a computer’s external
components. A dev ice’s running programs, scripts,
and applications are collectiv ely referred to as
“software” in this context.
• In a computer system, the software is basically a set of
instructions or commands that tell a computer what to
do. In other words, the software is a computer
program that prov ides a set of instructions to execute
a user’s commands and tell the computer what to do.
