BARKADA KONTRA DROGA (BKD) HOMEROOM AND SCHOOL ELECTION
GUIDELINES FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2022 - 2023
1. A homeroom classroom-based election for Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Officers shall conducted within the
present school year.
2. The elective positions for the classroom-based election shall be President, Vice President, Secretary,
Treasurer, Auditor, Public Information Officer and Peace Officer.
3. The Elected Classroom Presidents shall be the participants of the School BKD election for the present school
year.
4. The elective positions for the School BKD Officers as stipulated in the DepEd Order No. 47, S. 2014 - Article
VIII shall be President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, Public Information Officer, Peace Officer,
and Grade Level Representatives.
5. Candidates for all School BKD elective positions shall:
A. Be a bona fide students;
B. Be of good academic standing with a general average of 85 and above without any failing grade.
C. Be of good moral character;
D. Have not been subjected to any disciplinary sanction.
6. No residency shall be required of the candidates for all BKD elective positions.
7. In the School BKD election proper, all participants who shall be nominated for the positions, are given a
minute for self-introduction and campaign. After all nominees have spoken, voting shall take place. All
participants are eligible to vote in every position.
8. All voters will be given a secret ballot which will be placed directly into the ballot box after they have casted
their votes.
9. After validating the result of the poll, the BKD Coordinator/Adviser shall immediately announce the name of
the elected officers.
10. In case of a tie, a toss coin spearheaded by the BKD Coordinator/Adviser shall utilize to break the tie.
11. After the completion of the set of officers, oath-taking shall take place to be led by the School Head.

Based Elections for School Year 2022 - 2023, the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) will select new set of officers for
this school year.
Anent to this, I am respectfully asking permission from your respective office to conduct a quick room-to-room
orientation about Adapt-BAKOD and Homeroom and School Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Elections.
Herewith are the guidelines for Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Homeroom and School Elections for School Year
2022 - 2023.
