SERVER DEPLOYMENT : 1 Hour and 30 Minutes PART 2 - Add role called ADDS

In the Server:
Warning! Using this module during actual assessment - Goto START
is VERY PROHIBITED. - Open SERVER MANAGER
- Click Roles
- Click Add Roles
- Check ACTIVE DIRECTORY DOMAIN SERVICES
PART 1 - Set Peer to Peer Connection - Click Next
- Click Install
In the Server: - Wait for a moment
- Goto START - Click Close
- Goto CONTROL PANEL - Close All Windows
- Find Network and Sharing Center
- Select Manage Network Connections
- Double Click LOCAL AREA CONNECTION
- Double Click Internet Protocol Version 4
- Click Use the following IP ADDRESS
- Type: 192.168.0.2
- Click OK two times
- Click Close
- Close All Windows PART 3 - Create DOMAIN using dcpromo

- Goto CONTROL PANEL In the Server:


- Double Click WINDOWS FIREWALL - Goto START
- Click Turn Windows Firewall on or off - Type dcpromo
- Click OFF - Press Enter
- Click Apply - Click Next Three times
- Click Ok - Select Create a New Domain
- Close All Windows - Click Next
- Type : sfc.domain.com
- Goto START - Click Next
- Right Click MY COMPUTER - Change Windows 2000 into Windows Server 2008
- Click Properties - Click Next two times
- Click Change Settings - Click Yes
- Click Change - Just Click Next
- Type in Computer Name : SERVER - Type Password : sfccss123!
- Click OK two times
- Click Next
- Click Close
- Check Reboot on completion
- Click Restart Now
- Wait for a moment
- Computer Automatically Restarts
- Log In
- Log In
- Goto START
- Open COMMAND PROMPT
- Type: ping 192.168.0.1
- If no error then Good
- if there is error Troubleshoot Connections

In the Client:
- Same Instructions in PART I but
- IP Address must 192.168.0.3
- Computer Name must CLIENT

PART 4 - Add role called DHCP - Fill Up your Information
- Click Next
DHCP - stands for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol - Type Password: sfccss123!
- Check 2nd and 3rd Checkboxes
In the Server: - Click Next
- Goto START - Click Finish
- Open SERVER MANAGER
- Click Roles - Close All Windows
- Click Add Roles
- Check DHCP
- Click Next Many Times, Pause when BUTTON ADD is
found
- Click Add
- Type the following:
Scope Name : scope
Description : scope
Start IP : 192.168.0.4
End IP : 192.168.0.10
Subnet Mask :255.255.255.0
- Click Ok PART 6 - Joint Client PC into Domain
- Click Next
- Disable DHCPv6 In the client:
- Click Next - Open Up your IP Address
- Click Install - Type in Preferred DNS Server : 192.168.0.2
- Click Close - Click Ok
- Close All Windows - Click Close
- Close All Windows

- Goto START
- Right Click My Computer
- Click Change Settings
- Click Change
- Remove Workgroup
- Click Domain
PART 5 - Create Two Users Account - Type sfc.domain.com
- Click Ok
In the Server: - Log in Administrator Account
- Goto START - A Welcome Message should appear
- Goto Administrative Tools - Click Ok
- Click Active Directory Users and Computers - Click Restart Now
- Double Click any sfc.domain.com - Log In
- Double Click folder named Users - Click SWITCH USER
- Right Click ADMINISTRATOR - Enter one of the User Accounts created in the Server
- Click Copy
- Fill Up your Information
- Click Next
- Type Password: sfccss123!
- Check 2nd and 3rd Checkboxes
- Click Next
- Click Finish

PART 7 - Perform File Sharing

In the Server:
- Open Drive C:
- Create Folder Named : My Folder
- Right Click My Folder
- Click Share
- Click ComboBox
- Click Find PART 9 - Perform Remote Desktop Connection
- Type au
- Change Reader into CONTRIBUTOR In the Client:
- Click Share - Goto Start
- Click Done - Right Click My Computer
- Open My Folder - Click Properites
- Create any Document inside - Click Remote Settings
- Close All Windows - Select ALLOW CONNECTIONS
- Click Ok
In the Client: - Close All Window
- Goto My Computer
- Goto Network In the Server:
- Refresh Many Times - Goto Start
- Open SERVER - Type Remote
- Open My Folder - Click Remote Desktop Connection
- Copy the Document inside - Type the IP Address of the Client: 192.168.56.3
- Paste in the Desktop - Click Connect
- Close All Windows - Log In Administrator
- Click Ok or Yes

In the Client:
- Click Ok

In the Server:
- Open Command Prompt
- Type shutdown -s -t 1
PART 8 - Perform Printer Sharing
ALL DONE.
In the Server:
- Connect the printer cable
- Turn the Printer ON
- Goto Control Panel
- Double Click Printers
- Right Click EPSON LX300+
- Check SHARE THIS PRINTER
- Click Ok

In the Client:
- Goto Devices and Printers
- Click Add Printer
- Choose Add a Network Printer
- Double Click EPSON LX300+
