MY MATERIAL SELF REFLECTION
When I think about my material self, it amazes me how my possessions and spending
habits reflect my values and identity. For example, I have always been an avid reader and
my bookshelf is full of various titles that reflect my interests and passions. I also have a
collection of vinyl records over the years that reflect my love of music and my appreciation
for the art of the album format.
Ac the same time, 1 also understand that my material possessions are not the only things
that define me as a person. Although my books and records are important to me, they are
not the whole of me. I am also defined by relationships with others, experiences and
personal growth. In fact, I believe that my material possessions can sometimes prevent me
from understanding. If I get too attached to my possessions, I can lose sight of the things
that really matter in fife, like relationships with others and my own personal development. I
can also focus too much on acquiring a ne
Ww asset, which can cause stress and anxiety. That's why I try to approach my material
possessions with a sense of balance and perspective. I understand that my possessions are
important to me, but I also understand that they are not the only things that define me as a
person. I try to focus on things that really matter in life, such as relationships with others,
personal growth and my own well-being.
In conclusion, reflecting on my material self has helped me better understand the role of
my possessions in my life. Although my possessions are important to me, they are not the
only things that define me as a person. By approaching my material possessions with
balance and perspective, I can focus on the things that are truly important in life and live a
‘more fulfilling and meaningful existence.MARY GRACE A, CONOGANA.

MY SEXUAL SELF REFLECTION
Sexuality is an integral part of our identity and can be influenced by many factors such
as education, culture, religion and our personal experiences. Understanding our gender
identity is an important part of understanding ourselves as a whole. As I reflect about my
sexual self I consider my own values and beliefS around sex. I also asked what I believe
about sex? What are my personal boundaries and limits? What do I want from my sexual
experiences?
I believe that one of the important aspects of a sexual self is to consider how you feel
about your own body and sexuality. By asking a question about do I feel comfortable and
confident in my own skin? Are there any aspects of my sexuality that I feel ashamed or
embarrassed about? Personally, I have so many flaws in my life especially when it comes to
my body, by the way I think? How do I react? but, I know that nobody's perfect. To answer
all of the questions that have stated above. First, I really consider my own values and belief’
when it comes to sex, I grew up with a good and well family. They taught me very well
about the things that I should be ready for. Second, today’s teenagers are more often
curious about a thing that they are not really sure about. They ofien explore things beyond
the line. Third, I have my personal boundaries and limits. Don't do such a thing if you have
no idea what might be the possible outcomes of your actions. In the discussion that
happened weeks ago about the sexual self, I gained knowledge about the different types of
diseases that people might have without knowing it. Fourth is what do I want from my
sexual experiences? Simple and plain, I love my body and my body is precious to me. I have
nothing in my mind but to study and survive this college journey. It’s also important to
consider how our sexual self fits into our overall sense of self. How does sexuality intersect
with other aspects of our identity, such as our gender, culture, or religion. Remember that
sexual self is a process, and it’s okay if we don’t have all the answers right away.
In conclusion, Reflecting on one's sexual self is crucial for self-awareness and personal
growth, By taking the time to reflect on my values, beliefS, and experiences, I can gain a
deeper understanding of my own sexuality and how it fits into my overall sense of self.
Sexual self-awareness can also help us feel more comfortable and confident in our own skin,
It helps in embracing and celebrating body desires, navigating relationships, and expressing
one's sexual needs effectively. It's a personal process with no right or wrong approach, but
it’s essential to be honest and open with oneself. We are all wonderful, and our sexual self is
a personal journey.
