find ∠ MPR and ∠ PSR .

16. Find the area of the parallelogram ABCD in which AB = 40 cm, AD = 70 cm and BD = 90 cm.

17. Draw the coordinates of the points (-3,0), (3,0), (0,3),(0,-3) in the Cartesian plane by using a graph
paper and find the area of quadrilateral.

18. In fig. If BX = BY, then prove that BA = BC. Write the axiom.

19. In fig. the side QR of ∆ PQR is produced to a point S. If the bisectors of ∠ PQR and ∠ PRS meet at

20. 100 plants were planted in each of 100 schools during Van Mahotsava. After one month the
number of plants that survived were recorded as in data below :

25. Show that the perimeter of a triangle is greater than the sum of the lengths of the three altitudes
of the triangle.

26. ABCD is a rhombus and P,Q,R,S are the midpoints of the sides AB , BC , CD, DA respectively. Show
the the quadrilateral PQRS is a rectangle.

27. Prove that the angle subtended by an arc at the centre is double the angle subtended by it at any
point on the remaining part of the circle. By using this theorem . find x.

28. Construct a triangle PQR such that ∠ P=90° and ∠ Q=60° . And the perimeter of the triangle is
12 cm

29. Draw histogram and frequency polygon for the following data:
