Research Narrative Essay

This document provides an overview of the challenges involved in developing the Kinky Boots product line. It discusses how Charlie Price had to transform his family's men's shoe factory into a producer of heels for drag queens in order to keep the business running after his father's death. The initial product development process was unconventional, involving trial and error and feedback from their target customer Lola. The factory had existing strengths like skilled workers that provided a foundation, but developing a new niche product line organically was challenging. Potential threats like competition from luxury brands are also addressed. Overall, the summary discusses the non-traditional path of Kinky Boots' product development and commercialization.

Research Narrative Essay

Crafting a Research Narrative Essay can be a challenging yet rewarding endeavor. It demands a
unique blend of analytical skills, creativity, and the ability to convey a compelling story rooted in
rigorous research. The difficulty lies in seamlessly merging the structured elements of academic
writing with the narrative flow that captivates readers.

Firstly, the researcher must delve into extensive literature, meticulously gather data, and conduct
thorough analyses to construct a solid foundation for the narrative. This process demands patience
and a keen eye for detail, as any gaps in research can weaken the overall impact of the essay.
Moreover, integrating personal experiences or anecdotes within the narrative requires finesse to strike
a balance between objectivity and subjectivity.

The task becomes even more challenging when synthesizing diverse sources, ensuring that the
narrative flows cohesively while maintaining the integrity of the research. Transitioning between the
academic and narrative aspects can be akin to navigating a complex maze, requiring a writer to
maintain clarity and coherence throughout.

Additionally, crafting a research narrative essay demands a deep understanding of the chosen topic,
as well as the ability to present findings in a manner accessible to a broader audience. Striking this
balance requires honing communication skills and tailoring the content to engage both specialists and
general readers.

In conclusion, composing a Research Narrative Essay is no easy feat, as it necessitates a harmonious

fusion of research prowess and storytelling finesse. Success lies in the writer's ability to navigate the
intricate interplay between academic rigor and narrative allure. However, for those seeking

Title Laws against Abortion

Complete the sentence The Purpose of this Paper is . . .

The purpose of this paper is to show how the states are creating laws to try and prohibit
abortions and how these laws are putting unnecessary hardships on the women trying to
receive them.

Introduction
Abortion is a controversial topic within the United States; states are allowed to make
different laws in regards to the topic but must not go against the 14th amendment of
the constitution. Many laws that have been created by different states that have made
it harder for women to receive and abortion have been thought to be unconstitutional
and have been brought to the US Supreme Court. A case brought to this court due to a
Texas law has caused some problems for women trying to receive and abortion. This
law has caused many abortion clinics to close in Texas. States are creating laws that
are limiting the ability of a woman to receive an abortion, going against the 14th
amendment of the constitution, and creating hardships for women. 19 facilities in
Texas that provided abortions closed due to this new law and that is a 54% reduction
in the number of facilities since April 2013. (Gerdts, 2016) For example women may
have to travel much farther to find a clinic in some states, which in turn will cost extra
money for either gas, or possibly a bus ticket. Some women are not fortunate to have a
lot of money for when issues like this arise and if a clinic was closer to them
Product Development
When Charlie Price s father died, Charlie had no idea that he would have to completely
revamp the family business in order to keep the family shoe factory running, nor did he
realize the problems that would arise out of his change from men s shoes to heels for
drag queens. Charlie had to employ fundamental marketing techniques in order to make
the 180 degree transformation of his company and to make his gamble profitable. Kinky
Bootsdid not take on the typical way for the a new product to reach market, but
nonetheless Kinky Boots took on a more realistic and organic way of a product
becoming more than idea. The company, luckily, had many strengths to begin with laid a
good foundation for what would become the Kinky Boots factory. Most... Show more

If, for example, Christian Louboutin were to make a special line or special edition drag
queen boot, the luxury factor and brand name status of these boots would certainly dig
into the profits of Kinky Boots. Nevertheless, Kinky Boots themselves could offer
limited and special shoes releases. Another thing that aids Kinky Boots in this
potential threat is their name is synonymous with catering to the needs of
transgendered individuals, which gives them a certain credibility that is important to
making a purchase. In the development of a product, often the textbook steps are
ignored and the product organically comes to be in a mixed order. This is exactly
what happened with Kinky Boots. The development of this product was not generated
in a think tank atmosphere; this product came more out of trial and error. First, there
was the idea screening with Lola, to see if he would be interested in trying the special
boot. Then, there was the first round of product development that went over like a lead
balloon because the flat, burgundy boot did not appeal to the target market: drag
queens. It is through the help of Lola on the project that product development process
becomes more textbook. By having Lola leave London to join the company, the idea
generation and idea screening processes are by passed because this was a last resort
