In this regard queries related to the eligibility of Mechanical Engineering for the post
of Assistant Foreman (Electrical) (Trainee) Grade-C in Electrical & Mechanical
(E&M) cadre have been received via e-mail. In this regard it is clarified that the
vacancy in Excavation cadre is for both Assistant Foreman (Electrical) (Trainee)
Grade-C & Assistant Foreman (Mechanical) (Trainee) Grade-C whereas the vacancy
in E&M cadre is only for Assistant Foreman (Electrical) (Trainee) Grade-C and
accordingly in Table-A at S.No.-3 under Clause (1), the essential qualification for the
post of Assistant Foreman (Electrical) (Trainee) Grade-C is clearly indicated as
"Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Minimum 3 years course)" and in Table-D at
S.No-3 under Clause (4) for Higher Qualification and Branches it is indicated as
"Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering I Electrical & Electronics
Engineering" in the above said Employment Notification.
