ABSTRACT
Life is becoming too busy to get medical appointments in person and to maintain a
proper health care. The main idea of this work is to provide ease and comfort to patients
while taking appointment from doctors and it also resolves the problems that the patients
has to face while making an appointment. whereas the database containing the doctor’s
details, patient’s details and appointment details is maintained by a website that acts as a
server.
The proposed project is a online doctor appointment booking system that provides patients or
any user an easy way of booking a doctor’s appointment online. This is a web based
application that overcomes the issue of managing and booking appointments according to
user’s choice or demands. The task sometimes becomes very tedious for the compounder or
doctor himself in manually allotting appointments for the users as per their availability.
Hence this project offers an effective solution where users can view various booking slots
available and select the preferred date and time.
