RACING AGAINST TIME

Official Reception Building (Saudi Arabia)

 2,700 m³ of concrete poured in 30 hours to form the massive substructure. A feat which required to
constantly monitor and control temperature variations within the raft in order to avoid extreme
conditions which would have set the structural integrity of the raft at risk.

TALL AND SUPERTALL BUILDINGS : RISING TO THE CHALLENGE

BalancinG feasiBiliTy & arcHiTecTural inTenT

Despite challenging design, construction and great expense, high-rise buildings continue
to be built in increasing numbers throughout the world. A demand that results in the
need for early advice and expertise as high-rise buildings quickly become impractically
expensive if structural needs are not considered from the very beginning.

• Responding to spatially challenged urban development

• Efficient structural solutions, load bearing facades
• Minimizing structural footprint on architectural intent
• Structural optimization backed by numerical simulation
• Constructability and construction strategies
