PubMed® is a free database supporting the

search and retrieval of biomedical and life


sciences literature. It is the most heavily used
biomedical literature database in the world.
PubMed comprises more than 33 million citations
for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science
journals, and online books. Citations may include
links to full-text content from PubMed Central (PMC)
and publisher websites.
